Y25 I'd start with the Beast and Long up front.

Thought Church was very poor on Saturday.

Once again, Manset is CUP-TIED!

As are Morrison and Williams before anyone asks

Team will be

Federici
Griffin
Harte
Mills
Pearce
McAnuff
Kebe
Long
Hunt
Karacan
Leigertwood

It's possible that Griffin or Harte may be swapped out for Cummings and/or Armstrong with Cardiff and QPR looming shortly after but unlikely.

Yes - it is amazing how many of our fans that seem to want us to get chucked out of the cup for playing ineligible players. Or else they have a great difficulty with being able to read.

If Manset doesn't start on Saturday then I'm literally going to slice McDermott's left thumb off with my wife's season ticket.

shaka's shorts Elwood will get his break for QPR game, so even more reason to play him, but maybe give Tabb 30 mins for Karacan if we can. Time to give Cummings another game to let him know his last performance wasn't wasted and also as always, time to drop Harte! If Hunt is injured, then Antonio and HRK would have to be striker cover from bench as Bignall isn't good enough and should be sold or loaned out IMHO.

Pick a strong team, get ahead and then rest Long, Kebe and jem, rather than start weaker and bring them on if needed.

Fed

Cummings
Mills
Pearce
Armstrong

Kebe
Jem
Elwood
McAnuff

Long
Church

Subs
Andersen
Griffin
Inga
Tabb
HRK
Antonio
Hunt (or Howard if Hunt not fit)

This. Spot on.

shaka's shorts Elwood

Another new signing? Wow, I look forward to seeing him. I assume it's that and not just a case of using a random, meaningless and rubbish nickname for somebody you've never met.

I'd expect no more than a couple of changes from Saturdays side.

Armstrong (if he's fit and able, which I'm still doubtful of) in for Harte and probably Cummings in for Griffin.

Possibly Tabb in for Karacan due to the QPR game being on the horizon and Karacans recent injury concerns. Only other change in midfield might be Antonio to come in for Kebe.

Long could do with a rest, but as we've no other forwards fit and available I guess he'll have to play through it, which he'll no doubt be fine with.

After all the furore about who was eligible, worthy of a ticket for Saturday, how did you nobbers get on?

Openly admit I was stiffed, Ive got enough points, my son hasn't, modern life and all that, so I missed out.

A mate of mine( Stevenage fan) says that the home end is pay on the day, we must really be a low wattage pull!

Could always go with HRK up front or one of HRK, McAnuff or Howard in the hole if Hunt is out still whilst resting Long.

Think I'd try and give a few different players games whilst keeping significant changes to a minimum.

Andersen
Cummings, Ingimarsson, Pearce, Harte
Kebe, Leigterwood, Howard, HRK
Church, Long

Basically changing one of each partnership except striker.

I cannot see many changes from Saturday although after the battering he took on Saturday I think Long may be doubtful even if we don't want to rest him. McDermott has already strongly hinted that Church will play and if Long isn't selected and Hunt still unfit I would be surprised if it is anyone other than HRK up front assuming Hunt is still unfit unless we cobble together a five man midfield.

Mancet - yet another WUM on the board - or possibly one who cannot read and is hard of thinking - and cannot spell either.
