Thought he looked quite decent when he played for us. Looked quite good when they came down here earlier in the season.

Surprised Antonio doesn't start and we go with one of Howard or Hunt out wide.

Come on Howard... keep the ball, play nice stuff, win the game. We certainly aren't going to be able to go for our normal tactic tonight.

suppose it could be 4-3-3... doubt it though... It just leaves teams too open down the flanks to really be playable these days. Whatever we don't look to have much decent width.

LoyalRoyalFan I think you'll find it's Noel Hunt out on the wing.

Interesting one, personally I don't think Hunt is half as effective on the wing but Howard is a better player when playing alongside 2 other central midfielders. Still, whatever the team, I'm sure they'll put the effort in

If you notice during the match, Hunt does drift towards the wings. He does put in a decent ball as well.

He's better at flicking the ball on from the centre though. Yer I imagine it's prob an issue with injuries but it's a pretty weak midfield if we have a striker playing there and 2 players who are consistently poor for us playing. However there's always hope that Howard will score a screamer from 30 yards :?

With Gunnarsson & Harte at fullback... that's gonna require Legs, Howard and Karacan to do a lot of running helping them out.

This is the same OS that said on the day of the game v Everton that Coleman and Saha would not be playing.
4-5-1 it is then.

LOL...fair enough. Just reporting on what they said.

And, yeah Ian, that back 4 would mean some people are going to have to do a lot of running.

But if they do actually employ it it signals to me they are going to go for it today...

What an absolute joke of a line up where the hell have all our full backs gone? Griffin, Cummings, Kelly, Williams?

Why does Antonio never get a game? why not 4-4-2 with HRK and Antonio on the wings?

Why is Howard still at the club?

I'm getting more and more fed up of this club by the minute

I guarantee you we'll go for it today whether it's 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-4-2 or 10-0-0.
