Tad Showbiz The voting for all this takes place ridiculously early hence some quite random selections. The voting as far as I'm aware is made by the professional footballers themselves through their membership of the PFA. How many actually bother to vote is a different question.

i can confirm that pretty much all professional players vote, and take this quite seriously

And to clatify, voting is done between mid-Jan and late-Feb - when we were destined to mid-table mediocrity.

The Real Sandhurst Royal Harte and Wollahan are suprise selection for me.

I wouldhave have thought Long or Boothroyd would pipped Graham.

Really? Hoolahan has been pretty immense for Narge this season.

You'd better tell Gordon Taylor he's got it wrong then Dirk.

Turns8 So what is the Actim strongest team...

That would be tricky as we'd need to think who works with whom.

Kenny

RB? Taylor - Martin - Harte (pushed by Clint Hill)

Gradel - Howson - Hoolihan

Taraabt

Graham - Long

Not sure why you'd have to think about who plays better with whom. Just take the top rated from each position. No subjectivity required.

urzmikep Shane Long doesn't even make into the team even though he clearly is the best striker in the champsionship by a "long" way!!

LATELY he certainly is a contender, but this is a season based award, which rules him out.

My apologies - it must have changed over the past few years. I know the papers still go out in mid-Jan, so they much have moved the deadline back into March.

and 442? 451? 433? do we play a defensive midfielder or two box to boxers? etc etc?

As it's a comparison to the PFA teams why not do what they do? 4-4-2 all the way.

I'll make it simple for you. From ACTIM, tell us:

The highest ranked Goalkeeper
The highest ranked Right back
The highest ranked Left back
2 highest ranked centrebacks

The highest ranked Right midfield/winger
The highest ranked Left midfield/winger
2 highest ranked central midfielders (of any type it really doesn't matter for this exercise)

2 highest ranked centre forwards

Rangel and Naughton are just 4 points apart (less than 1%) but Naughton has only played 30 games

tbh it all a bit of "fun" these teams of the year

They should do something with the team and play a game at the end of the season against another league or something

Its hard on a couple of of your players yes but TBH the midfield selected and front 2 have been pretty consistent all season maybe before Long for example came into form?

I'd have said Martin was a right back, and Kebe is definitely a right winger not left too.

I'm not too fussed about the team. Congratulations to Ian Harte, but let the rest of them ignore us, we know how good they've been, the players and Brian know how good they've been.

I suspect most of the full backs terrorised by Kebe were too ashamed too put his name on the voting form and tried to forget the whole experience.

Only two from QPR the side that have dominated this league from day one?. I agree it should be done at the end of the season. It's like some clubs anounce man of the match 5 minutes from time, and always the home player?

QPR have 7 players in the 100. It just happens that often they have the 2nd/3rd best player in a position

4th
12th
22nd
29th
36th
40th
88th

Either that or Gradel plays on the right and Sinclair on the left. I've not seen much of Leeds this year to know where he's played, either left, right, or perhaps even through the middle where I have seen/read about him playing.

Dont think it matters really - QPR are the best team this year because their points total says they are......and I guess it shows that you dont need the best individual players to be the best team
