Good decision by Mike Dean. As has been said it doesn't matter if its the 1st minute if its a red its a red.

After seeing the oscar winning roll on the floor from McGugan and the sly look over to the bench...I'd disagree...ok the studs may have been slightly high but it's not like Taylor steamed through McGugan...soft decision if you ask me...

Studs high. You always take a chance.

Ideal
Swansea have enjoyed 53 per cent of the possession so far

What a good manager Brendan Rodgers is!

^^^
McDermott is better and has the advantage of not being an arrogant, full of himself, pr1ck.

Borini injured. Big blow for Swansea.

Swansea block a shot with a hand. Earnshaw, from the ensuing corner, scores an offside goal that was rightly called back
Such a good game

Swansea in the final then. No way will Forest turn them over at the Liberty 11 v 11.

That will feel like a win for Swansea. Dyer was superb but they will miss Borini. Advantage Swansea.

You've got to hand it to Swansea (and Brendan) on today's performance with the luck they had.

That red card actually galvanised them - didnt hurt them at all.

Don't think I can stomach losing to Swansea at Wembley would rather lose in the semi to Cardiff!

Fitness could play a part though - anyone know how bad Borini's injury is?

Just seen it again and McGugan definitely played for it. The sly look up when he was on the floor showed he was feigning it. Still a really stupid challenge but in hindsight McGugan played it to get Taylor sent off.

Turns8 ...and that's why I'm glad we didn't get Dean as a ref!!!

Because he got a big decision right?

So early on in such a big game!!! You don't see many refs going straight for the red regardless of how bad the tackle is within the first minute of a game...

Doesn't or shouldn't make a shred of difference if it's the 1st minute or the 91st. Mike Dean despite his overly exciteable way of awarding decisions gets more right than a lot of the others. including tonight, definite red card.
