^ I think we would lose Kebe as well RWC. However we have more good young un's at the club than at any other time I can remember. If we stayed down there would be more chance of them gradually easing themselves into the team. If we go up some of them would struggle to make the side as we would look to strengthen. If we do go up though the likes of Long and Kebe would stay.
I'm sort of with Mags on this though. What's the point of turning up if you're not that fussed if you lose. Plus it would be a 5th play-off failure. That's one too many for me.

I too feel very calm about the day, its surely down to us surging into the play-offs at the last minute where everyhing is a bonus. Was equally relaxed against Cardiff where I always thought we'd win, however I'm equally convinced we'll lose the final but dont really mind as I'm just looking forward to a good day out seeing Reading at the new Wembley. Actually cant be that many fans that have seen their clubs at the old Wembley/Millenium & new Wembley..

I have. 8) Was their in 1988 but not 1995. The roar every time Gilkes got he ball still lives with me. He terrified Luton in that first half. We had a lot more fans than Luton at the game....the attendance was around 60,000. Great day.

yep me too, 2 at the old Wembley and one at the millenium. More than ready to even the wins/losses up now.

on the subject of being relaxed, not at all! I'm in a bit of a daydream most of the day at present and I'm sure by the end of the week it will have completely taken over my life. Although I will have a fantastic day out in the build up to supporting my team at the home of football, I hope and pray that the emotional high extends throughout the 90 minutes and beyond.

I thought Kebe had made his intentions plain on returning to France - so yes I'd agree with that. Possibly the chance to paly in the prem would tempt him to stay for a while.

Don't get me wrong - of course I'll want Reading to win - I want Reading to win every game they play in and am pissed off when they don't - just ask the missus on a Saturday evening if we haven't won!

For perosnal reasons I hate Swansea with a passion, there will be no one more happy with me if we beat them.

As far as the Premier League goes, It's just we've had a taste of the cake. It was OK. The cake looked a lot nicer than it tasted.

With Madejski at the helm and knowing what happened last time the Premiership is nothing at all to get excited about sadly. Unless of course this time Madejski realises if he wants to sell up he'll have to invest to keep us up there in which case it may be interesting.

In any case having "been there, done that, got the T-shirt" (literally) it's nowhere near as exciting as 1995 because we know the reality of it.

Plus if we lose it'll be Brendan who succeeds, which is quite nice as he's a good chap and has a point to prove. And it'll be great for a small club like Swansea to go up and for a Welsh side to be in the Prem.

I'm going expecting a definite defeat and a good day out. If we win then PAAAAAAAARTYYYYYYYY TIMEEEEEEEEE :D
