wolsey Or as Maguire once said (sic).."The Premier League will be the hangover that we will suffer from the party that we are about to have"

You mean you're paraphrasing me.

Winning is brilliant. Winning at Wembley is even better. The Premiership is just the hangover after a great day out.

Cheers for the nod though, Cardinal.

Terminal Boardom I am more than happy to be considered the makeweights that will inevitibly lead to a Swansea victory. I don't give a toss for what this pundit or that journo says or writes. Write us off at your peril!

Absolutely. This game is a 50/50 call. We have only lost once in God knows how long for a kick-off.

Just a point on the size of the pitch and how it will favour their passing game.
Southampton's Dell pitch was of normal size but felt smaller because of the proximity of the fans.
The Wembley pitch will feel bigger because of the room between the pitch and the fans.
I think our game will mirror the European Champs League final in that one team will have most of the possession but the other will try to hit on the break.
The only problem for us as I see it is that a lot of energy is used chasing long balls and harrying the opposition and playing at Wembley is notoriously tiring so our renowned fitness levels could be very important.

seems most fans from other clubs want US to win though, mainly because they do not want to see a Welsh team grace the ENGLISH Prem

I don't know if anyone saw the BBC news this morning but Graham Hunter, a journalist who covers Spanish football, said that Barcelona aren't happy with the pitch quality. They think it's slow and spongy and are really worried about the effectiveness of their passing game.

With Swansea playing a passing game it is bound to effect them as well especially with the pitch only having been played on two days earlier.

Some Nobbers may need some help with the lead time for ticket printing. They'll have been printed like that so that it didn't matter which team (Reading or Cardiff) won the semi. I'd guess the Swansea tickets say Swansea / Nottm Forest.

I do wonder how the pitch will be for Monday after tonights game -its never been great in the past when games have come s close together , but would suggest half a ton of Miracle Grow over the top just to make sure it looks lush

Is it true that because we're the royal county we're allowed to wear our home kit away?

Yes as we are the only team in our county. However we never enforce this rule.

After the L1 Playoff Final the experts were confirming that the large Wembley pitch will favour Swansea with their wing play. Hardly worth us turning up then

It's amazing how if you repeat something often enough, it becomes accepted wisdom, regardless of whether it's actually correct or not. These people ought to know better.
