TBM I dont know why people are getting excited about our youth players - as soon as they make it into the first team, Madejski will be getting his calculator out and seeing how much he can get for them

Yeah, good point, he should splash his cash and have all that success Bradford and Leeds did after they did that.

or he could just keep the youngsters and let them gel, making us into promotion material and hopefully a good premiership side. As said, they are all gone before we get to see their true/full potential.

gazzer, loyal royal There is a young lad who plays in goal, who goes to Bearwood who is meant to be amazing. There are a lot of good youngsters in the academy, they just need to kick on.

You're thinking of Santangelo, who really is something special, having been to school with him.

Seems to be a bit of a gap to the next crop of youngsters. They tend to spend a year out on loan at lower league clubs before being considered for the 1st team so it will prob be a year or so before many break through.

Cant really comment on their ability apart from Jacob Walcott who i saw once on loan for Staines last year. He was gash.

Jordan Obita played 76minutes for Englands under 19's last night.

Considering he's 17 that means he's been skipped ahead two years, which is promising for us :D.
