Will Morrison or Sonko play at all? I'd be interested to see morrison especially and how he compares to Pearce.

Federici, Griffin, Khumalo, Pearce, Harte, Kebe, Gunnarsson, Karacan, McAnuff, Long, HRK

subs: Andersen, M Williams, Tabb, Hunt, Morrison, Sonko, Howard, Manset, Antonio, Bignall, Obita

Interesting to see no McCarthy in the squad at all with the Reading FC Twitter saying it is only Leigertwood and Church who are injured. Seems to me also that McDermott is very keen on Robson-Kanu up front, last season i'm sure with no Leigertwood he may have put McAnuff in the middle with HRK on the wing and have Hunt or Manset starting with Long. He says that's not a contingency plan for the imminent departure of Long but i can see otherwise to be fair. Maybe we may sign McClean and use HRK as a striker from here on in?

EDIT: Reading FC Twitter now states there is slight knocks for McCarthy and Cummings which is why they aren't involved.

Yes full commentary on BBC Berks with the usual suspects, Dellor, Adie Williams and Mick Gooding.

They just talked about Howard's man-boobs and slated Mills. Here we go again...

yeah got it on now, Dellor weren't being to kind about Mills, missed the bit about Howards moobs though, be interesting to hear how kumalo gets on, as well as HRK up front, hoping Obitta gets a bit of time on the pitch from what people have been saying on here sounds like a great prospect

I'm thinking that may very well be the line up we go for against Millwall, though obviously it'd be Leigertwood for Gunnarsson providing he's fit.

yeah will be pretty much that, would expect Hunt to start if he's fit as well though

By the sounds of it (reading from match reports and twitter) it would seem HRK has been on it during pre-season. Haven't really heard much from Noel, apart from his constant tweeting and what not.

Though, would you rather have HRK starting and then Hunt being subbed on (with no decent winger subs), or Long and Hunt starting, with HRK providing fresh legs on the wing in second half and Manset upfront.

Wonder how Church is feeling...

You say no decent winger... i think you may find Maccy D believes that Jordan Obita can be that decent winger

Sounds like he does have the potential, but he hasn't really been tested against a decent opposition as yet.. It's a tough one to call. Though to be honest, starting with HRK, and having Hunt as a sub for either upfront or the wing would work quite well. I think Hunt is just a rubbish Long. they are always going for the same ball.

I like Noel i think he has the ability to be a 20 goal season striker if he can stay fully fit for a whole season but it's a big if. HRK has been stepping up a gear though end of last season and pre-season he's been good and can't be to far off of a first team place i thought he'd be competing with Jobi for a 1st team spot this season way he finished the last, but seems like he's after a striking spot now.

mcdermott has said that the team he puts out today, minus the injured, will likely be the team for millwall. i'm just disappointed he favours the hopeless federici over mccarthy, who oddly doesn't even make the bench. i hope he isn't being sold.
