Arnie_Pie Now this is really strange. I have been on holiday for two weeks and had no idea who we were playing next and I also never dream about football, but last night I had a dream about us playing Derby and we one 6-5.

Won*

Sorry.. You can probably find a lot of mistakes in my posts.

Jackson Corner I can't even remember Derby winning or even drawing a match at EP or Mad Stad? They must hate playing us we don't just beat them we usually batter them. Hopefully this will continue 2-1.

Jan 05 we lost 1-0, think Tommy Smith scored

But other than that, 10 wins out of the last 11 meetings at our gaff (F27-A7)- I hate historical records as they mean nothing on the day, but that is something to be  at.

0-0 written all over it...

Got to be a draw this one. Derby 5 points above Reading. Reading seem to have sorted their defence out now, but are struggling to fire in goals up the other end. Readings goal difference is 1 and Derby's is 3. So it's going to be 1-1.

Fingers crossed! This will be my first home game since Donny, looking forward to it!

melonhead 78-0

le fondre 70
church 5
manset 2
hunt 1

That's a goal just over every minute. Not sure if that's physically, mathematically or emotionally possible.

not sure why I am even contributing to the 78-0 prediction which is a complete waste of bandwidth, however, 78-0 is nothing compared to the biggest margin of victory in club football. The Madagascan side, Stade Olympique de L'Emyrne, put the ball in their own net 149 times in a league match against champions, Adema, in protest at a refereeing decision earlier in the match. "There have been a couple of quirky games where teams have deliberately let in as many as possible," admits the Football Association's historian, David Barber. "I can also vaguely remember reading about a Sunday league game in Nottinghamshire in which a team deliberately let the opposition score in protest, and they lost 50-2."

personally speaking, my ridiculous predictions are a protest about the inherrent daftness of all football predictions- theyre all a banal waste of bandwidth,

and also they rile against the general negativity prevalent on the boards.

Spot on Melonhead, I seemingly misjudged your reasons. Predictions are, as this thread routinely proves, of no value at all. However, you are assuming that the predictions are done for anything more than a bit of fun

Apparently Robbie Savage is coming on the pitch at half-time tomorrow night to do a dance routine with his Strictly partner.
EDIT Just noted this has already been mentioned...

The Real Sandhurst Royal We have a great record at home against Derby over the recent seasons.

Long may it continue 1-0 home win.

Sadly, no Long available to help it continue... He usually enjoyed playing them.
