SCIAG
winchester_royal Don't agree. Every time we've come up against Schmeichel he's had a blinder. Leicester could have had their pick of any goalkeeper in this division. They chose him. That says alot.

Leicester had their pick of any centre back in the division and chose Matt Mills.

No, he isn't. He could be, but he isn't.

Sorry IR, but even though he has his (admittedly fairly frequent) off days, he is the best natural CB in the league.

What the hell does that even mean? I don't care how much natural talent he has, centre back more than almost any other position relies on so much more than raw talent. Just in our team Gorkss is a better player.

Its says they had money to burn and made a 'lazy' signing. Chosen by a manager who doesn't know his ars from his elbow and will be sacked by Christmas.

Calm yourself down son. It's just the standard welcome to the board. It was a joke, no need to take it so seriously.

Nice to see internet beefz so early in the morning.

Or it could be that Sven worked with him previously and rates him.

Firstly, I agree with the original post. Feds is a great 'keeper, for us. Might not work well elsewhere, but overall, his quick disribution gets us on the offensive regularly. He's also great at 1 on 1 situations (on the pitch!).
However, he's not the greatest at commanding his area, which is Matt Mills strength.
Mills is a very good championship CB, but also a twat, I think selling Mills for a profit and buying Gorkks (spelt wrong) is a great bit of business.
Has anyone noticed how our upturn in form coinsides with a strong, reliable CB pairing, ahead of a reliable 'keeper?
We are very lucky with our 'keepers, and should feds ever leave, we've got a great replacement, as we did when Hanemann left.
