Game pretty much goes as the Southampton game went.

Was going to go for 6-0 but I've been beaten to it.
Generally can't feel that excited, but we are inconsistent, so a sparkling performance will see S Church score 2 and set up one more, but also manage to miss an open goal. 3-1.

Terminal Boardom The best I can see is a 4-0 drubbing by the Iron. Allardyce has got them playing really well away from home. This game will show exactly how far Reading have to go to be considered also-rans let alone play off contenders. There is not a single Reading player better than their West Ham counterpart.

It's a good job football is a team game then.

What's the worst you can see then?

I don't think that I have got a single prediction right this season. This will be my first! The worst I can see? Reading being taught a footballing lesson. It will be the 2011 version of what Arsenal did to us in the Prem when they spanked us 4-0.

LOL @ a Sam Allardyce team giving anyone a footballing lesson.

We'll get something out of this game, I gurantee it!

An almost certain defeat (probably 2-1) featuring Jobi Not-enough cutting inside, beating one man and then getting tackled and losing posession at least six times. We will also have to put our hands together for a minutes applause after the sad recent death of a reserve team players cat. The game will be followed by McDermott saying: "This is never an easy place to come, but we now move on to next week, this is a tight league, we know that, anyone can beat anyone, especially a team like us that has bags of effort but no discernible talent.....I have to say the fans here were excellent today, especially the four thousand of them who left with 15 minutes to go when we pulled it back to 2-1."

I hope I'm wrong, but I think we'll lose 1-2.
I'm not overly concerned by their forwards, but I think they might have too much going forward in midfield.

We'll go out thinking a draw would be a great result and will end up getting hammered 3-0

We have played well against the better sides at home without a win.
I think the team will be up for this one and with a little luck going our way we could scrape it.

However I will predict a 0-0 with one of theirs seeing a red.

We'll raise our game, go 2-1 up and someone will be sent off. That's my prediction... not too different from S&C so it must be true.

If we don't win, my boss will be insufferable!

West Ham are turning into a typical Sam Allardyce team. They are physical and one of the fittest teams in this league. Their style of football is not pretty to watch, and they'll struggle to win many plaudits, but it's getting them results!

Reading, while equally unlikely to turn on the Brazilian style, should be able to match them for fitness. The Royals have a never say die attitude and play to the final whistle. Much like the great George Michael, they are used to coming from behind......

0-1 (HT) & 2-1 (FT)

we are pretty rubbish these days, they are decent, wouldn't be going to this if I didn't have a season ticket ( pm me if you actually wanna sort somethng out for some games this season). Going for a 0-3.
