Can't wait to see a front three of Sheppard, Williams and Baseya. And Bignall in behind.

No doubt it means he'll continue to make a decent living out of us until his contract runs out and he trys to find some other club to take a punt on him.

Hoop Blah And now Royals' boss Brian McDermott is keen to bring Sheppard to the Madejski Stadium where he hopes the talented youngster can follow in the footsteps of the club's previous successful Irish imports such as Alan Bennett, David Mooney, Joe Gamble and Brendan Rodgers.

I see what you did there.... :D

Can't wait to see him come off the bench in a League Cup game next season just before his impressive loan spell at Woking.

There now, that has to mean he'll be blasting hatrick after hat trick into the net before the end of this season - or has writing that hexed it all again?

Actually this could be a VERY GOOD signing. The lad has shown a lot of potential so far and might well in time turn out to be better than any of the strikers we have at the moment.

Won't help us much this season though.

James McLean has hit the ground running in the PREMIERSHIP. Everyone is just too quick to write off someones ability.

I found him on twitter, he tweeted this today...

@karlsheppard10 Exciting few days coming up........

Obviously i asked him why and if he was joining Reading fc, surprisingly he hasn't replied. Looks like a decent prospect and classic Reading signing but a far better pedigree than Williams or Baseya.
