2 down after 15 mins. Defence? Shambles.

If you listen to the Official Reading FC PR Machine (Twitter) and the more impartial Fordham, we've absolutely dominated.

Yes, but our number 6 (cooper) is having a mare. Up front were promising but a bit lacking in the final third.

Half time: 2 down

They've had two chances and scored twice, we've had about 70% possession and created one decent chance (great save from their keeper)

Defence naive (although keowns son doing well), attacking play promising unfortunately a bit lightweight in the final phase

Cooper. Perhaps he was nervous. Had a good last half hour. Partridge (captain and other centre half) looks a bit special from what I have seen.

Possibly a Partridge and Pearce CB combo in a few years then?

The Webbs Dougie and Neil both played not sure if there are any others?

Must surely have been some in the club's first 30 or 40 years, but I can't think of any. The only other pairing I can come up with is that Joe and Maurice Edelston both played (but Joe did so only in wartime games).

If we ever re-sign Forster-Caskey this question will be more difficult to answer in future...

Were the Dennis Butlers of the early 70's related?

Nope, don't think so. Certainly not father and son.

A wind up surely? If not, who was his dad?

Not Stewart Henderson - he who's OG ended Steve Death's record.

Samuel will be kicking himself after that miss in the last minute. Can we have that contract back?
