Agent Balti
Snowball Isn't the best way to judge him via his RESULTS?

Frankly, no. There's 21 other players on the pitch to define a result.

Maybe true by the time we face pompey

Different players.
Ledge has more composure and technical ability, while Jem is the better athlete.
They're a great pairing. Luckily we have decent 1 or 2 match cover in Tabb too. I'd worry if we lost both at the same time though, unless another one of our youngsters (D'Ath?) is ready.

I'd like to see Jem doing the defensive midfield duties and Cwyka playing the advanced midfielder role. Giving us a more attacking threat, but of course losing another defensive minded player in Leigertwood.

Having said that, it wont happen (yet). Legs and Jem is working well. They smother every midfield and it works for us.

Still don't think we have the quality in strikers to justify wasting two positions on them.

I'd 5 man up that midfield, sit Jem and Legs behind Cywka.

At least for a half, to see what that's like. We are winning which is great, but it feels like those wins could come easier if we could get a few more goals.

(never satisfied, me)

Leigertwood is better - more physicality, spots better passes, ever so slightly more of a goal threat (although tbh neither exactly bulge the net with regularity).

Karacan has a good work rate, covers a lot of ground but I just don't think he used the ball well enough yet.

Not an open and shut case by any means and it's an area we could do with strengthening.

Trouble is La Tête de Melon, I think we may be in danger of wanting Cywka to be more than he is.

Our minds = New exiting creator of wonderment, brought in to max up the midfield and complete the transition from winning to winning pretty

Possible reality = no-cost signing, brought in for cover if everyone else has flu and to teach McDermott how to make Kielbasa.

I choose... FANTASY.

I agree with the concerns about our creative quality in central midfield, but given our current strike force has 5 goals in 5 games, I'd not be inclined in the slightest to drop one of them to accomodate Cywka with Legs and Jem. And I think Cywka with one of those two would be rather light weight. Right now, absolutely no reason to change anything.

It might work but Roberts is not mobile enough to play the lone striker (I don't think we have a striker at the club who could play that role).

It may not be the prettiest in the world, and we may have ridden our luck at times, but don't you think jem and Ledge have had something to do with not conceding?

Its quite scary how much I have the same view as Mags on RFC. Agree again.

Which is why he and myself retain them in our suggested sides. I also disagree that we don't have a striker to play a lone role. You can accomodate any striking style with the right tactic - it's a myth they have to be a big target man, or an electric workhorse.

Ian Royal
given our current strike force has 5 goals in 5 games, [I see] no reason to change anything.

I think that's a stat that could be improved, and remain unconvinced our strike force deserves two places in the team.
