He used to be a regular at Brannigans. Really decent player and if his fitness levels are decent I'd play him ahead of Leigertwood. I know this will be shot down in flames! All about opinions though huh.

In the team for Barnsley please, both Legs and Jem looked shot on Tuesday.

Very pleased with this, not a creative midfielder but he'll win the ball, keep it simple, and get the ball out wide quickly. Which is exactly what we need our CM's to do in this system.

rfcjoe Remember seeing him on a night out in Reading before & I drunkenly shouted 'sign for Reading blah blah' & his m8s responded something like 'oxf*rd Reading' :|

Footballers... you sound surprised!

Great signing fwiw, agreed with cover for Leigertwood... Hopefully he'll fit in at Reading and it'll turn into Mullins >>>>> Tabb

I've heard that Connolly's injury might be more serious then first thought so this makes sense more as defensive cover than for the midfield, I could even see him coming straight in for Cummings to be honest.

Yep, good signing this. There has always seemed an inevitability that Mullins would play for Reading at some point.

melonhead why?

If that's for me....

I just think there's something about Cummings that isn't right at the moment. I know he was named in team of the week against Leicester but the fact McDermott signed Connolly then kept him in the team for so long makes me think he's either carrying a bit of a knock or that Brian wants some experience in the back line.

Just a bit of a hunch really, I don't mind Cummings, I think he's had a decent season and has good potential but I could understand the move.

I think he's looked a bit nervous since he's come back in the team as well, suppose it must be difficult coming into a winning a team, especially when the defence has been so solid.

So Connolly looking crocked, Cummings 'under performing'... We're gonnae' see Mullins at RB I think.

I don't think so, not unless Cummings get nobbled. Cummings was good on Tuesday. It takes games to get back up to speed.

Yay! Welcome home Hayden.

Excellent addition. Potentially could come in for either Ledge or Karacan as I think he'd probably offer better passing than either. Not to say either of those haven't been excellent. I just think he might give us a slightly better blend.

He can cover anywhere in defence but as long as Connolly and/or Cummings are fit then don't expect him to play at RB. Perhaps you should have done to Donny to see him put in a decent performance, rather than knock him for Saturday's and speculate he will be dropped?
