Fox Talbot I'm hoping an agreement to draw 0-0 is being arranged.

If it's a hotly contested game, I can see us losing 3-0 as a result of absentees and general shagged outism.

However, I suspect it may be a very tame 0-0.

A gentleman's bore-draw will leave both teams still needing a couple of results from the last three games, so I think both will go for the win...

2-2.

I think both teams will see it as a chance to just ease off the accelerator a little before the last 3. the end is so near there's no point approaching this one like it's the cup final.

Definitely a mind-games game. I think it will be very interesting to see exactly what
each manager says, how the game is "spun".

If we start hearing "Cup Final" sound-bytes, and stuff about final battles
or "gladiators' etc etc, then perhaps it WILL be the big show-down

BUT

We might see both managers playing it down, and then a tame draw might well occur.

We would LOVE a draw, then we'd just need to win our two home games, and Saints
would see a draw as virtually guaranteeing them the title.

In absolute seriousness (I'd like others' views on this) how big a deal is it to be champions
rather than going up automatically but in second? I'd LIKE us to be champions, but for me
it's just the icing on the cake, a lot of cake and just a bit of icing.

We all expect WHU to drop points, BUT WHAT IF THEY DON'T?

We certainly OUGHT to beat Palace (tho' nothing is certain) but Forest
have hit form at the worst time for us.

Draw at Saints (say), beat Palace (hopefully) draw with Forest, and IF
WHU were to win their next three games, we would go to the last day
needing to win at St Andrews to be certain of automatic.

So, as I see it, until WHU drop points, we really, REALLY need to keep winning.

Draws could be dangerous. The fat lady is in a taxi, hasn't even got to the theatre yet

Going for another smash & grab here. 0-1 to the royals. Jason Roberts deserves a goal, will stick a couple of quid on this i think.

Interesting article here: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/s ... ryid=16676

I thought Saints had a mahoosive fanbase, and would sell out no probs? either way cracking atmosphere in store.

Both teams deserve to go up. CANNOT WAIT!!!! :D

The last 15 games I have predicted we will lose 1-0 and have been saying the wheels will come off. But that's just becouse of 30 years of suffering let down and enough depresion to fill 10 episodes of Eastenders. So 1-0 the Saints. And hopefully I will wrong yet again.

I know a lot of Saints fans and none of them are confident about Friday at all, they thought they were lucky to win at Palace and have really looked out of sorts for the past couple of weeks and two of them reckon we'll win because our away form is so good. I personally think this will be a score draw 2-2.

Wow, yet more listing of every possible permutation on a prediction thread.

We don't get to pick and choose when to win our games. They're all worth three points. That's why people saying "i'd take a draw at Brighton" is mental. Why would you take a draw? Win the damn thing.

They should go into the Soton game thinking "if we win this we've basically done it" and not risk dropping pts in later games. Form team in the division, fear nobody.

First half open attractive football being 2-2 at half time (Hunt, McAnuff vs Lambert x2) and then Spanish football style for 35 minutes in the second half (i.e. lots of passing with no progress). The final 10 minutes ALF to come on in a RFC attacking masterclass to score a further two goals giving another epic 4-2 away win and the League Title.

Royal Lady I'm going to say we'll lose, only because when I say that, we win!

I'd take a draw for defo though. Will hardly be able to hold my bottle of wine whilst watching the game on TV - I decided not to go with Schards et al - but kind of regretting it now....

Drinking a whole bottle of wine? Isn't that a bit irresponsible?
