Fox Talbot I think last year was our worst in cup football since the League Cup started - knocked out of both comps in first ties v lower league clubs.

McD disguised this utter failure by winning the league but that won't work again this year.

pretty sure we used to do that every year before mcdermott

Alright, I checked. Up to 2003 I'm right, though 1969/70 and 1990/1 come close. But no record of losing all matches to lower oppo.

At home.

Prices of anything more than £5 will see a tiny crowd.

This needs to be kid for a quid and adults for a fiver, otherwise it's 8000 at home at best.

A nice dull game where we can play a few development squad players and quietly get turned over while raving about the new prospect that sines

Pretty much this. Definitely an oppurtunity to play Obita etc, but a team good enough that they'll likely beat the weakened team we put out :(

Christ, they must be our most played team in the Cup. Rubbish.

Was that a cup game? It was quite a decent crowd on the back of the Luton game.

Well we've already got to the second round, so we're doing better than last year!

Ian Royal Not much choice locally any more. Ipswich is stupid expensive, I'll hopefully be going to Norwich anyway this season. I'm not going back to Peterborough after the last two bloody games so that leaves Stevenage, a London club - Millwall, or Brentford would be ok, or Cambridge, but I'm not sure what league Cambridge are in so I don't even know if they're in the competition.

Except for fact Millwall got knocked out

Do you really think I'd bother to check the previous round results, if I can't be arsed to check what division Cambridge are in despite living there?
