howser This will give you a smile :-
--------------------------------------Feds------------------------------------
-----------------Pearce-----------Mariappa----------Gorks----------------
McLeary-------------Tabb--------Guthrie-----------Ledge--------Mcanuff
----------------------Roberts------------------Hunt-------------------------
Why not we have tried just about every other formation, play with the sweeper, both McLeary and Mcanuf can do the full back cover, and it allows Guthrie to dictate the play with two defensive midfield ball winners doing the donkey work.

That actually solves a lot of problems! Doesn't work for Kebe which is a big shame though.

Royal Ginger You need top players for that formation, it's never going to happen.

That must be why Wigan have made it work so well at times.

Can you honestly see that working for us?

Stuboo It's all about the Prem and it would be good to give other players some practice, so...I would go:
Federici
Gunter Pearce Marriapa Harte
Gunnarson
McCleary Tabb Leighterwood Robson Kanu
Roberts

moonwalklikebas Would like to see Samuel and Obita get a run out. Until we put them against quality opposition, who knows they could be shit or they could be really comfortable.
