Silver Fox Competitive? They've lost half their home games, conceded 2 in all but one of them and won once

0-2

0-2 Chelsea
2-2 Stoke
1-2 Fulham
2-2 Everton
2-1 West Ham
1-2 West Brom

Lost to Chelsea (no disgrace there) drawn with Everton, who should have been 4-0 up on us by HT, drawn with Stoke, same as us, beat West Ham currently well up in the table, and two narrow defeats by West Brom and Fulham and a GD of 8-11 over 6 games shows they have had no hammerings and their GD averages 1.33 - 1.84

Prior to Saturday's result we were 0-4-1 7-9 an average of 1.4 - 1.8

Not a lot in it. They can easily beat us

A side could lose six on the trot and still be competitive.

Wigan have hardly been hammered before the Liverpool game

2-2 with Stoke and 2-2 Everton, wins at Saints and Spurs, that's a better set of stats than ours

Wigan could be without seven first-team players due to injury for Saturday's home league match with Reading. Ben Watson's broken leg and captain Gary Caldwell's hamstring problem are the latest casualties, while midfielder James McArthur, strikers Franco Di Santo and Ryo Miyaichi, winger Albert Crusat and centre-back Antolin Alcaraz also look set to miss out.

Here's Fozzy for some inspiration.

IIRC this was just before that famous run of 3-0 defeats including at home to Wimbledon, who had a certain Leigertwood and McAnuff in their starting line up. (And also Nigel Reo-Coker, what happened to him?)

The BBC sport newsfeed from earlier said they had 7 first teamers out so looks like a good time to play them; I can't imagine they have much strength in depth.

If that's true think we will win 1-0

Just don't have a clue for this one. It is true we have never really ever turned up against Wigan away, so I am going to go with whatever Lawro says

And hope we are both wrong! :)

Snowball drawn with Everton, who should have been 4-0 up on us by HT

You mean drawn with Everton who we beat 2-1 instead of drawing?

And in what way "should" they have been 4-0 up on us?

Honestly you write so much bullshit it's actually incredible.
