QPR have drawn with Tottenham and won against Chelsea. They'll sort themselves out. Wigan will get out of it, they always do, Martinez is a master. We're in it with Villa, Southampton & Newcastle. If we're lucky Norwich and West Ham will keep sliding and be in the mix. We're still big outsiders, but there's a bit of momentum, and we could do it.

We need to keep this mini run going & cash in on the feel good factor to get out of the bottom 3 & stay out I think. Lets face it, the quality isn't necessarily there at times but the players must feel the best they've felt for quite some time & we need to capitalise on that. If the WBA result can't give them an extra 10% on the pitch then frankly nothing will.

Beat Newcastle, draw with Chelsea, draw / beat Sunderland. Easy peasy!

Snowball, you have predicted far too many 1-1 draws there. Personally think we'll have around 24 points and will need 4 wins from our last 10, along with a draw or two.

Not so sure about QPR - despite those results, they're not really any better off. I suspect that they could be putting in performances against the big teams, but might struggle against those around them. Let's see how they get on away at WBA...

We should do what I hope McDermott is doing and only focus on us and forget about how everybody else is doing/will do.

6 wins (and a couple of draws) will be enough.

That is do-able,

If we are still in contention going in to the last game of the season, that would be a momentous achievement and I would happily take that now if it was on offer.

Agreed, and if we need to win at West Ham, then I think we can all be fairly relaxed given recent records.

Would love WHam to continue to slide and it be between us for the last relegation spot on the last day at their manor

We'd never make the station if we put them down with a Kebe injury time winner (they'd have stayed up with the draw)

cmonurz I think the calculation with 10 games to go will look something like "probably need to win 6 or 7 of these games to stay up oh well at least we haven't got United, Arsenal, Liverpool and City to play, oh fcuk. arshavin, don't do that again, you're injured for four weeks'.

don't tell me you've got away with this one?

People need to start being more optimistic. The truth of the matter is we are only 3 points behind the little pack of teams that we need to be amongst. We usually hit form around January or have been for the last few years we seem to always go on a good run.

Lets believe get behind the team and hope the boys can put together a good little run that can either keep us in amongst it or even better get us climbing up the table. Think we have found our system we have players coming into form such as Pog and Guthrie is starting to do a good job for us too slowly but surely.

The thing that encourages me is the depth we now seem to suddenly have in midfield in the centre. This is where we were struggling before when Legs Tabb and Bryn were the only fit midfielders available.

We have a chance lets hope the boys grasp it with both hands especially with the rewards for staying up that are at stake this year.

Got away with what?

Slow day?

If you're looking forward to playing Liverpool then fair do's, I think they are going to annihilate us.

If we can get some more guile in the final third then YES we can stay up.
