Sign him up. He still has his place in the squad. If we were playing 2 up-front we'd have seen a lot more of him. Massive work rate and has always brought the best out in those playing around him. Certainly not time for him to go.

He's keen to stay. Rather have a willing volunteer than someone who couldn't give a toss.

Don't know why there's so much certainty on here that Roberts is done. Injuries have ruined his season but still a good player.

As for Hunt, I'm a big fan of him and think he fills a role that our other strikers don't quite and so is useful to have on the bench at least.

I think we should give both Hunt and Roberts another year. Both, perhaps, with an automatic extension after 30-odd league games?

Although it's said in some quarters there isn't one..I do feel that Roberts media life is a conflict with his footballing at Reading ....he's spending a lot of time off the pitch injured but plenty of that time in a studio on radio/tv...some may question what's the problem...but I think he should be doing what injured players do...get treatment and rest up...don't think he's earned another season, even if the reason is he's too injury prone

Think it depends on whether we get relegated as he would still be very useful at championship level, but just not quite cut it for the premiership. If we stay up think we should replace him whilst if we get relegated we should offer him at least another year

Two years if we go down.

Probably nothing if we stay up, though that depends on Roberts. If Roberts retires then I'd give him an extra year if he wants it.
