Unless Kebe breaks with tradition, we aren't going to see him again for another month or so.

And if we do lose against Villa I reckon we will be below Harry and co after the game.

Reckon we need 4 wins to be safe,
so that's defo Villa, Fake hoops & Soton all must wins,
then we've gotta get something from Norwich, Fulham & Wet sham.
That's do-able but there's absolutely no room for error now! :(

Even if by some fluke we beat Villa we will go down.

That's because according to Brian there are no such games!

There was no margin for error before the Wigan game. Beating Villa, Saints and QPR is a big ask indeed given current form plus we need to get a couple of extra wins on top of that. Unfortunately it is difficult to see where they will come from. Although not mathmatically impossible, the reality is we are as good as down.

Don't see why, as it stands we are one point from being safe.

I'd take that to the last game.

I'd be surprised if we get that chance.

Wigan are getting a tooling.

Villa will be beat on Monday.

Minimal damage today, and Soton are now in it.

We look down already, although not mathematically of course. I'm not sure how losing to Wigan was good not when we are so woeful away from home.

We lose to the teams around us. At times we have had good performances which is nice to see, the loss to Wigan wasn't and a few others too.

Losing to Villa will see us finish 20th imo because I can see QPR at least drawing us and Southampton if not beating us.

A simple lack of quality and too many mistakes made through the season has resulted in this. I thought it'd be difficult but not this bad.

This /\/\/\/\

There is no deny that QPR are getting better under 'Arry. Southampton's level of performancen has not actually been that bad revently and since the start of the year they have beaten Man City, drew at Chelsea, Stoke and Fulham and picked up a win at Villa. The games against them will be difficult and wins in all of them are far from a foregone conclusiom.

Wigan was a digrace, we can all agree on that and we were never likley to get anything out of todays game, however having watched it, the extent to which Everton battered us, it is hard to see where the next win will come from.

Yes, it was clear to see we should be beating top 6 sides away from home on a regular basis.

We may lose to QPR and Southampton - I don't know. All I ask is we show a bit of spirit and I thought we had that today. We certainly didn't against Wigan.

I can't understand why a guy who said on February 23rd that we were already down, and that in fact it had been inevitable since November, is bothering starting a thread like this anyway. What does the Villa game have to do with it?

Having watched the game, albeit through a terrible online stream, apart from Alf hitting the bar, I thought we offered very little, especially when Kebe went off. Not for bad finishing on Evertons part, it could have been 4 or 5 today.

I never expected anything from the game, bu to get . in my humble opinion, so outplayed was worrying. Men against boys I'm afraid and we were not even remotely comeptitive.

The form level to do that is equivalent to what around 8th in the league manage over a full season.
Our best ever side finished 8th and this team is a long way short of that.
Until we run out of games it is of course do-able but if we don't get maximum points from those 3 home games we will need to get points at both Man Utd and Arsenal and most people wouldn't put money on that.
All in all it doesn't look too promising especially as we have only beaten one of the teams in the reverse fixtures this season.

Of course we are down if villa beat us. Nothing less than a win is enough. We are on the cusp
Of relegation now. You do not lose to fellow relegation contenders home and away and stay up! may as well play the kids the final games. Even if we beat villa we will be behind cause of the next
two away games.

Not enough pl quality in our side. Most pf the squad have been found out at this level. Most of us already knew that would be the case.
