Can't really grumble at the line up. All I really wanted was Hal to start for some reason. Come on you Royals!

Libertine I like the line-up. My only quibble is I would like to see McCarthy start if available to play, which he is...but hey, ho, it is what it is.

I would have said it was probably a bit too early to put him into a PL game. Bit of a jump from 90 mins in an U21s game.

He was playing very well as part of the full squad before he was hurt. He has shown he can do the job at this level. He was/is supposedly our 2nd choice keeper after Feds...

It's not about his ability, it's about pushing him too much, too soon, after coming back from a serious injury.

Besides, Taylor hasn't really done anything wrong.

Why would we need a bench when we have Guthrie? In fact why do we even need the rest of the team?

Agreed on Taylor. Like I said, just a quibble, and a minor one at that...

Royal Ginger #readingfc team: Taylor, Kelly, Shorey, Mariappa, Pearce, Karacan, Leigertwood, Guthrie, Robson-Kanu, McAnuff, Pogrebnyak

Common sense side. Almost picked itself really.

Aww did I insult HNA?'s favourite player?

I must leave the poor guy who refused to play for my club alone his head might not be able to take it.

SPARTA Jem Karacan and Brian McDermott (grown his hair since his sacking) arrive to watch Arsenal vs Reading today.

This is reason enough not to get rid of the alarms at Broadmoor.
