Personally I quite like it. It's a touch cheesy, for sure, but you'll find the same '3 word ethos' stamped around any big business. It's another sign of the management trying to grow the Reading brand, which can only be positive. It also sums up quite nicely what will (hopefully) be happening at the club under Anton's ownership.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of fans acting '2 kl 4 skl' about it though..

WoodleyRoyal I have been hearing this "Build, Evolve, Succeed" mission statement from the club in various articles recently, reminds me of the Pardew era "Tenacity Spirit and Flair". Is this an Adkins thing? Or was it around before him? These sorts of things in football really annoy me, it’s the whole corporate cock sucking, bullshit bingo drivel, which i get spoon fed at work on a daily basis. Really don’t need it from my football club to be honest. I go to football to get away from such nonsense. How does this shit come about at a football club anyway, do they have think tanks with spider graphs? Do they honestly think by having some quirky message attached to everything more fans are going to go?

Can't be as bad as the spoon fed "Be loud, be proud and back the boys and make some noise"...... It's a shame home games start like an episode of Crackerjack.

BraisingsteakRoyal "Brilliantly technical players who work tremendously hard"
Maybe we started it with "Players Are Not Trying Sufficiently" or if you were an optimist "Pardews Army Never To Surrender"

It's no wonder you're always so grumpy about Reading what with your expectations being so high.

(To quote Greoning) Keep your expectations tiny, then you won't end up so whiny.

Just need to add a 'T' at the end to make it a winning acronym...

Build
Evolve
Succeed

I wonder how many flag poles they flew that slogan up and saluted it under a blue sky during a thought shower.

Kind of thing that makes me cringe too. The sort of phrase that has launched a million power point presentations.

Can't stand these shite sayings. Reading aren't the only ones.

Man City - Pride in battle
Spurs - To dare is to do
