You really do talk a lot of crap. Just out of interest, have you listened to the podcast? It's a very positive interview, and you can hear quite clearly how passionate AZ is about the club and football in general. He understands what needs to be done to establish a club in the top flight, but at the same time recognises it is a learning process for him as well. He doesn't claim to know everything, but you can see that his intentions are right for the club. One thing I love is that the first change he made when he came here was that the recruitment system we had in place wasn't good enough. Skip forward 18 months and we scouted over 900 games this season alone, and we are looking around Europe and beyond. We weren't doing that before, so there is a clear improvement that in the long-term will benefit us! He also says in this interview that he gets so involved in the running of the club that he too takes is personally if the club fails; so whilst the fans are disappointed and looking for someone to point fingers at, he knows he is one of those that has to accept blame. That's fantastic to hear! Look around other clubs and you will see many Chairman that just hide in the background when it all goes wrong. Anton is a breath of fresh air! There are a lot of changes that need to be made both on and off the pitch, and an awful lot of money needs to be spent to get us where Anton wants us. That cannot be achieved in 18 months, nor can it be in 36 months. But in the long-run, this football club is heading in the right direction!

grey_squirrel Well let's just see if the 900 European scouting missions doesn't mean we end up signing average players from Motherwell, Crawley Town and Sheff U or a has been Portugese International courtesy of You Tube.
Proof of the pudding.........
