Wimb This was in Dellor's chat with him on BBC Berks on Saturday I believe, Dellor asked him something about not playing much and he came out with this.

Definitely not the 1st time he's said "the truth will come out" or similar.

If he's anything like his manager he'll save his dirt for a rainy day. #kebeomissionG8

It'll probably be what has been speculated about pre-xmas that he's on a whacking great deal with pay as you play bonuses we just can't afford on a weekly basis, and we've had to manage how we use him.

All of you have failed to spot that Drenthe's waistline is due the fact that it's a costume with Gilfi inside it. We have secret time share deal with Spurs cos he loves Reading so much and the disguise is to fool the FA until we buy him this summer with our new mega loaded owner. This season Drenthe has never played at the same time as Gilfi which proves it ....and also my mate who works in the bar there told me that one night, so that's true.

I still think it's bizarre people think he's fat. He's just short, broad and stocky.

The truth....(IMO)

He is an unfit nutcase who doesn't seem to be a team player at all & has moved from club to club because he obviously p1sses them all off. I suspect he has p1ssed off many a manager because of his fitness / application / attitude / integration etc. Right off the bat he's been weird anyway....sat on his own, warmed up on his own, sat on the floor instead of on the bench, no one talks to him.

I fail to see how it's anyone else's fault but his own TBH.

Good cameo on Sat but would we REALLY miss him if he went? I highly doubt it.

Also agree with the other poster that he probably gets appearance bonuses which has hindered the amount of starts he gets. But in any case, he is not fit enough for 90 minutes so if I were the manager I wouldn't start him either.

Fully agree. Saw him close up as he walked from the car park to the players entrance last Saturday and he is not fat at all. Not really even bulky. What really surprised me is how short he is.

If I had to guess I would say it had something to do with the Russian bullshitter. Perhaps RD was promised money he didn't receive or he was getting a heavy appearance bonus and they stopped paying it.

If he was slim enough to play for Real Madrid then he's slim enough to play fro Reading. The question is, is he the same body shape?

Real Madrid

Vs

Everton

Vs
Pre-season

and

Recently

Judging by these photo's he was at his physical peak at Madrid, bulked up (muscles) by the time he was at Everton, fat pre-season and back to his Everton weight now...

What's clear is he needs his dreads back. It's all about the dreads...

I have noticed how he warms up at half time on his own while the others will do something in a group. Harsh to point the finger at him too much as there could be something going within his own head that no one knows about

I've heard from a reliable source that the reason is due to the fact he is gay

When Anton, being Russian an' all that, found out he told Adkins to stop playing Royston, or be sacked, now Mr Mad has taken over again it means Royston can play - as Mr M likes "the man".

He was warned to stay away from Liverpool, so moved near London?

Always struck me as a very specifically worded "warning" to be published in a newspaper

According to Adkins '...I know the situation, it’s a very personal issue about someone’s lifestyle and it should be left alone...' and '...He was left out for one game for a personal issue. That’s not going to be brought up by us because it’s not our place. That was the only time he has been left out for reasons other than football...'

Yeah, thank heavens you're not the manager then!
Plus it is highly doubtful he is gay, considering the amount of female company he spends his time with...

I think his problem is that he's highly impulsive, poorly adapted to this and makes poor choices.
