Given the chance we've just been handed AGAIN.....could we all just get behind the team for once! Never know what difference a bit of support will make...

Win 1 nil tomorrow and lose 2-1 at Donny. Both Donny Goals from Billy Sharp after Pearce put us 1 nil up.

EverHopeful Please don't go Ian, please, please

Well Leicester ended very expensive, I'd have to close the office early and I can't get home that night, so I'd be staying at my mum's whilst my Aunt who's a bit irritating is there. And I'm supposed to be out for drinks on Wednesday and travelling back that afternoon might leave me a touch fatigued for the booze.

It's 50-50 really.

Everything to play for tomorrow night.

Another lack-lustre performance then.

Agree, get behind them!!! We have not been great, but no one seems to want 6th so we gave just as much chance. Stop the moaning and groaning, get behind them and drag them over the finish line, it's not just them it's all of us together !!!!!!!!

If the fans see the players giving their all they will respond.
It is not easy to forgive and forget the no-shows at Bournemouth and Wigan.

Yes poor performances, but you can forgive, no point dwelling on what's already been and gone!! It's happened , move on. If you never forgive or forget, you will become very bitter....

even on our barnstorming league title of 85/86 we lost 6-0 to Walsall..move on.

Football is always about the next game.

Anyways...I predict that the 40/50 year old cocks sat behind me will vent their spleen with four letter words in front of the 9 year-olds, criticise, contradict (themselves) and (then) congratulate themselves and our players when we win.

+1

This is exactly how I feel. As much as want to say we will win 2-1 tomorrow I'm going to say,

Reading 0-2 Middlesbrough, and hope they surprise me instead.

I often used to bet on our games in the stadium, but I just don;t bother these days. It's hard to predict when you have a) no idea which 11 players will start and b) of those 11, who can be arsed

marlowuk Middlesbrough have won their last two away games, against Brighton and Burnley so I'm not very hopeful about tomorrow!! 0 - 2 but I hope I'm wrong!

And we've not won at home in 7.
So they're due a loss and we're due a win.
3-1.

Results went our way again. If we had some guys, some motivation, some fight; we'd come out all guns blazing and win.

So 2-1 to Boro. We're gutless and we don't want it, for whatever reasons that are behind it.

In line with our recent form, if we go behind, then we may as well go home. If we score first then we'll either scrape a narrow win, or capitulate to a draw (again).

The narrowing of the pitch once again being our down doing despite having 5 wingers on the pitch, with no out wide options and therefore no crosses (as instructed: Adkins).

Massive hype up on the mic beforehead followed by an utterly passionless and drab 1-1 between two disinterested sides, players applauded off by most east standers.

Why?

0-2.

Reading don't have a fit team. Boro comprehensively beat us last time and I expect the same tomorrow.
