P!ssed Off
Pepe the Horseman The comment8ors are creaming over Luke Garbutt, who's making his debut at LB.

Saw him play twice this season for Colchester United, he was on loan there for the 1st half of the season.
Good player and they rated him very highly, but recalled to Everton after Oviedo snapped his leg.

If Baines goes in the summer I wouldn't be too surprised to see Garbutt given a chance there next season.

He does look fairly decent tbf. Him and Redmond are looking dangerous on that left hand side.

Think McCarthy was more recent, could be wrong though.

Garbutt looks quality. We won't have a LB problem for the next decade. Just a shame we haven't produced a decent right-back for 10+ years....

Certainly looks good going forward, not quite as good defensively.

Chalobah's gone massively down hill over the past 12 months. Forest and Boro fans didn't r8 him at all from their respective loan spells and I can see why tbf.

Ince (winger) off for Kane (striker)

Now we know where Obita is in the pecking order

Kane (striker playing as a winger) off Forster-Caskey on (CM)

I was thinking the same, might mean they see him as a LB though

I was at the game, Garbutt didn't impress me that much, couldn't win a header and did seem to give the ball away more often than not, but did link up well with Redmond who was superb for the goals. Got to have quick word with Jordan after the game in hospitality 8) seems he's very happy at the club and has the 'this is the club that gave me my chance attitude' that seems to be keeping him here for a while. Also seems he is being brought into the U21 squad to be used as a full back who they can push forward if need be.

Problem with that is the clubs 'this player could bring in some money, sell, sell, sell' attitude.

Gunter not in Welsh squad for Dutch friendly - Robson-Kanu included.
