To choose 3 out of 16 options is a bit too much for my liking. Would have thought 5/16 at a minimum.

i went with more quality in the first team squad, financial stability, and academy. i wanted to put promotion to the premier league but i feel like if we have more quality in the first team squad and a commitment to the academy under adkins' direction that will come in due time.

1. Academy
2. Training ground
3. Money to bring in a couple of proven players this season. Even a strong youth advocate like myself can see that we will struggle with such a young squad.

1) Financial Stability
2) long term commitment to the Academy
3) The Reading Way - although to be honest this is largely the same as 1), so open dialogue with fans is also there.

Take care of that and the rest should follow.

I'd like to see a firm commitment to retaining the real ale tent outside the ground.

I don't understand why anyone is voting "promotion to the premiership"!? :?: :?: :?:

I want Reading to be the sort of football club as it currently is and I believe most fans share this desire.

We wouldn't see it as a promotion we'd see it as more of a sideways move, or even a downwards move.

With this sort of 'promotion' we'd have to replenish almost ALL of our playing staff.

I'm 100% certain Adkins wouldn't be able to cut it either and would leave.

Who on earth voted for this!?

1. Long term financial stability - don't want to go through a JM or AZ situation again if it can be helped.

2. Academy - you can't beat the feeling of producing your own team and Reading should always be a product of homegrown talent and astute signings

3. Transfer budget - we can't rely on the academy on it's own and as I want Reading to compete with the best, we need investment in good players rather than scraping around the barrel for lame horses and rejects.

Long Term Commitment to the Academy
More opportunities for youth in the First Team
Improvement to Training Facilities

Do those 3 and financial stability will take care of itself.

 at the 13 characters that put open dialogue with supporters as one of their top three priorities going forward, good grief...
