LoyalRoyal22 Oh i also got stuck on M6 and missed the first 5/10 Minutes.

Terrible, wasn't it?

So so bad, did you miss any of the game? i honestly considered driving on the hard shoulder. I did like 20 Miles in 2 hours.

Missed about half an hour, but a similar struggle to you with the 2 hours sat nearly stationary!

On paper that looks a very weak front 6-so great result.

Just wait for when Macca/Guthrie/Williams/Cox/Karra start !

Blackman an 8 !!!! That's unbelievable-well done that man.

Honestly he was class. Good first touch, passing at the right time, holding the ball at the right time. Hit the post with a brilliant effort. Skipped past the full back once or twice. Cutting in from the right on his left foot. 8)

Also 10 players from the 18 match squad were from the academy. That is not including Karacan or HRK either. Incredible.

I'm enjoying reading all the positive BFTG stuff.

Hopefully everyone just tries to get behind the manager & team this season. Lets not put too much pressure on them and enjoy the ride.

genome The first 5/10 minutes were the worst I have seen under Adkins.

I came up on Friday and it was just as bad, took me 6 hrs. I was convinced most of the delay was caused by the overhead signs telling you to slow down, this causes some cars to slow, others break as they're slowing then before you know it you have a queue and a caterpillar like progress for miles.

Was at work when the game was played so I was not able to follow it as it happened. Disappointed we gave up the equalizer so late but the reports from the peeps who went are very encouraging. 8)

Great result.

Loving the fact 11 of 18 were academy.

PS. i fooking hate guthire with a passion, useless hairdo of a player.

For all his talent he has set up 2 reading goals, the man is a northern fraud.

Let him get his tattoo's paid for by another club.

Mr.Swainey Missed most of the game as I was stuck on the M6!

But still arrived in time to see Cummings being lapse for the first Wigan goal, but redeeming himself with a decent display after that.

Err... didn't they score in the first half an hour? How can you miss most of the game and see their first goal?

Take it that is because you are allowed to drive motorised scooters on the hard shoulder?

It's amazing how easy it is to avoid traffic jams in your imagination.

Oooh! Kitson is on the FLS!

Sweet.

touch of the deer in the headlights about him, what he's saying is good stuff, he just needs to relax a bit.

I liked the dig at Cellini and support of Hockaday.

Comedy goals all round in our game. Good strike by Blackman.

I've never seen HNA so optimistic the dark clouds of TSI are finally being lifted, it won't last long on here though

Bit early for that kind of talk after a draw against a rusty Wigan in the season opener.

I'd be interested in BFTGers reactions to Uwe Rosler's comments on the FLS. He said, if I heard it right, that we in particular played the long ball game but this is in contrast to what NA is trying to instil in our players and in contrast to some comments on this board which described us as playing a 'passing game'. A point away to Wigan was more than I (and most of us I think) expected but I would be concerned if we were reverting to hoof-ball.

Good to see The Secret Footballer on the FSL though. He seemed a bit on edge but it was his first time and I hope to see more of him on future programmes.

Bear in mind that was only a snapshot of an interview, I believe he was slightly more complimentary further on.

Thanks for the match reports guys. This is probably against my better judgement but I am feeling optimistic about this season.
