Bandini
Pepe the Horseman Thought we played quite well tbf. Charlton scored with their only attack of the game (other than Feds great double save towards the end) and did a job on us. Bikey and Ben Haim were solid, and our wingers got doubled up on every time. Obita lost all confidence once their right back got the better of him a couple of times.

Now that the unstoppable force of the Adkins out brigade vs the immovable object of the let him stay crew has started up on another pointless slanging match, I'll just retreat to AE to discuss what I like, what I hate and where I've been.

Interesting how it was someone that was pro Adkins that started slinging insults around though Royal Ginger.

People are entitled to voice their opinions on here after all..........

I used to be quite a positive poster on here & very pro Adkins but seriously??? If we can't beat bottom third oppo at home then sorry we're relegation fodder.

That team should be doing better than it is. I've seen nothing to suggest that they believe in Adkins or his methods.

Yes I guess you're right but I've had an ST for years so I feel somewhat obligated to sit through it. Fingers crossed they pull the trigger and then I can attempt to enjoy the 2nd half of the season.

Solley looked good for them, but most of the crossing was complete dogshit.

Who was that caaaaant in the White trench coat? Danny Dyer?

Very frustrated. I thought we played really well. All this talk on the radio and on here about passion being the missing ingredient for me is just naive. The biggest problems today were:

- useless crossing. I mean useless. Obita might as well have been aiming for the goalkeeper for all the use he was.
- an organised and capable massed band of Charlton defenders

Other than that, if just a few of the many, many chances Reading created had gone in we'd be talking about a top 6 finish. I was amazed to hear and see such negative reactions. Play like that and more often than not we'll win.

The way I saw it , it`s easy to see why Charlton have been so hard to beat this season, very strong at the back. and the right back had Obita in his pocket, doesn`t matter which side Gunter plays, the goals always seem to come from his side.
Charlton offered very little going forward, but as always against Reading you only need one chance.
That said I thought we were worth at least a point, so many blocks. corners, and the post, it just wasn`t our day .
20 attempts, only 2 on target tells the whole sorry story really, but we lost so out come the Adkins out brigade. as they do every time we lose, strange how quiet they were on Tuesday night

Adkins has brainwashed the players and they can no longer think for themselves. As a result we have no creativity, desire or passion and we play the most robotic, predictable football in the league.

Don't understand. We weren't that bad. Charlton defended well and we did let ourselves down with rubbish crosses and predictable runs. The one time we did run down the middle produced a really good chance.

We seem to rely on the wings too much. Seem to go side to side and backwards too much.

The twat behind me needs to STFU. Adkins out on every missed ball or mistake. Whining about everything.

The young teens in Y25; row GG, seat 236ish and surrounds... Why bother coming?
You spend all match facing away from the pitch and talking amongst you selves. The same group more interested in the arsenal score last week. oxf*rd OFF.

It's not strange at all you absolute cretin.
Does your manager threaten you with the sack when you have a rare good day at work? Or does he say "well done, I hope you'll perform as well next time."

'Strange that nobody wants to sack the manager straight after he produces a rare good result.' Er, no, not really.
