I'm only listening over the internet (obv) I'd much rather they get rid of that bloody air raid siren, that must be massively annoying in the ground.

harry If HRK had been left wing, McCleary could have been right & Mackie up front.

This baffled me.

Play an attacking 3, but have them all out of their preferred position.

Really not sure I trust Clarke all that much

frimmers3 Why would the manager of a side on the brink of the premiership sign for Reading?

am i going to be wooshed for saying its because he's being sacked at the end of the year, come what may?

Standard frimmers tbf.

The question stands..why would he look to move downwards given his achievements at Brentford?

Swansea and England U 21 scouts were at the game today. Can't understand why unless it was to watch Hector,

He has stated that no one has approached him about a new job yet. Maybe that's why.

I'm not a fair weather fan having seen us struggle in the old Fourth division many years ago in front of 3,000 fans but today was simply woeful. The team is just loud colour boots, fronted by loud mouthed agents picking up ridiculous wages for sod all effort. Hector, Feds and Mackie aside the rest should be shown the door.

Shows how shite we have come when a bang average team like Brentford do the double over us.

I am really struggling to recall celebrating a goal at home in the league. Its that bad.

Totally bemused with RFC at the moment and if I had stayed for "The Lap of appreciation" I would probably of thrown rotten fruit and veg at them. Thats about all they deserve

Williams and Feds were excellent. Thought Obita and Gunter did fairly well going forward, but both shakey at the back. I still really rate Obita, but a decision needs to be made on whether he is staying at LB or returning to his favoured LMF position. HRK is not a striker and never will be. He was awful today. Mackie was back to all hustle and bustle with no end product. Feel sorry for Cox, as he should be playing more in this team! However missing that chance hardly helps his cause! Norwood is not a holding midfielder. I can't be arsed to go on.....Sell half the squad and start again!

Pretty rubbish today. Absolutely desperate for a striker in the summer.

Bothers me that we have become such pushovers this season at home.

As far as 0-2 defeats go, that was one of the better ones.

We had more than enough chances to win that game, but a totally relaxed and enjoyable defeat, good luck to Brentford who with Grey and Jota, I hope make the Premiershit cut

Thank heavens I am 1000Km away. What a shower of shite. Wembley aside, (with no real quality opposition on the way there), just what has the manager achieved?

We are lucky that the bottom sides have performed slightly worse than us. Is SC the man for the job? I doubt it.

Same old, same old really.

For all the decent touches, runs and passes in the middle third, they were devoid of anything even remotely resembling conviction or belief in the final third. Passes became tentative and slow, rather than crisp and purposeful. Everything was delayed rather than just acted on. You could see that virtually every shot was either just hit hopefully at the goal - as if just hitting the target might be enough, or without any belief it would even hit the target in some cases.

Saying that, Williams, who already looked a pretty good player, has looked a revelation in a slightly freer role allowing him to pick up the pieces and drive forward. It was refreshing to see players actually get into the box too. Thanks to what looked like (to me at least) a 4-1-2-3 with Norwood acting as play maker and defence protector. It's just a shame we don't have a single forward who looks convincing for Williams to feed or use as a diversion.

I get why HRK plays, it's not like we have anyone remotely resembling a left winger. But when Mackie has been so good through the centre, why on earth Clarke chose to put McCleary on the left where he's far less effective, Mackie on the right where he's less effective and HRK upfront I've no idea. I'd have much preferred to see Mackie giving their centrebacks a proper chasing, McCleary working with Gunter and HRK anonymous on the left, seeing as there's no one else.

Stacey looked to have more attacking intent and skill than most of our forwards combined, one killer cross at least. I think he may have caught 'can'tshootitis' not long after appearing though, but I was at the wrong end to tell if it was him or someone similar like Cox.

Hector is quickly outgrowing my somewhat over-enthusiastic expectations from the end of last season, where I believe I said he'd be a first choice CB with us by now, back before we sold Morrison. He just oozes class, bar the odd error of judgement that he hasn't quite cut out fully. Playing a full season has seen him come on leaps and bounds from the inexperienced raw talent he showed last year.

Cracking saves from Fed too when we inevitably let Brentford have their obligatory easy attacks on goal. Was Pearce at fault for their goal at the corner? At least one of their players was just left totally alone. Woeful defending.

Federici - 8 what we've come to expect this season
Gunter - 6 meh, I don't rate him, but far from his worst game
Obita - 6 ish there's always a couple of worrying errors in Jordan. Thankfully we don't get punished on them too often.
Pearce - 7 higher if he wasn't at fault at the corner.
Hector - 8 too good for us
Norwood - 7 not quite at the height of his power under Adkins, but a pretty good display that gives me hope Clarke doesn't want to just use midfielders as negative spoilers.
Chalobah - 7 got forward well, didn't notice him do a lot, which I reckon means he went about his job well.
Williams - 8 MotM just pipping Feds, doesn't have enough of a final product though, not all his fault
Mackie - 7 not his day but he gave you what you want - endless hardwork and running
HRK - 6 grew into the role up front to the point he'd started competing ok by the end of the first half, rather than being a total bystander
McCleary - 7 desperately out of confidence and form.

Blah, blah, blah,

We had 18 shots, 4 on target the majority of those shots with time. Clark has nothing to do with the players ability to shoot on target. 1st half ball whizzed passd HRK where Mr Murray would have got a touch goal.

We have too many players that can play in multiple positions rather than 4 wingers, 4 strikers etc...

Next season : )

Until Hector improves his distribution....he will remain good enough for us.....agree tho' 100% better than the player that finished last season.
