Ian Royal
theroyalsaregoingup Surley the bloke's allowed a holiday it's not as if you're hearing much from other managers at the moment

No one says he can't have a holiday. He's the mouthy gobshite who said he wouldn't be taking one to sort out our problems and that we'd be no where near relegation this coming season. He's then promptly gone very quite as our squad gets drastically weaker.

This post plus the thread starter is cringey and just utter bollocks.

Transfer window is not open. I don't particularly want players out of contract and who nobody wants. It's still the middle of June!

New manager, new era, who took us to a cup semi final and assured us championship league status.

Chill out, go watch some cricket or croquet and come back mid July.

Oh and Ian, just a tip, you don't have to reply to every post. Honest.

There's a delicious irony in Ian calling someone a mouthy gobshite.

Rollerbob
Pepe the Horseman Anyone got a list of all the transfers in from the other clubs in the league as way of comparison? Just to get people to chill the fcuk out.

In short:

- Us and 7 others haven't signed anyone..
- 10 Teams have only signed one player.

So yeah.. There is nothing to worry about yet.

Two questions:

1. What about the other 6 teams?

2. Have the others had their best players leave them since the end of last season like ours have?

Pearce wasn't one of our best players. In fact he was , in my opinion, a weakpoint in our backline.

Federici is easily replaceable. He's a solid championship keeper, nothing more.

So where have we had our best players leave?

Jesus, some people seriously need to cheer up.

Think you may well be in for a very rude awakening there.

Oh really? The targets at the beginning are usually your first choices. It sounds like most of these have not materialised and this I suggest is almost certainly down to a new salary ceiling. Add to this the loss of several players and I think we are in a far worse position that almost all the other clubs in the champ.

First choice of what? Window hasn't opened yet which means the beginning hasn't begun.

RoyalBlue And doesn't his 'transfer update' sound oh so familiar to those given by all of the other poor sods that have preceded him! Part two will be how we tried hard but there just weren't any players available who would add anything to what we have already got.

Mind you, making part two fly will be a lot harder than before, given that we don't even have a senior keeper signed up!

Oh give it a rest.

We knew this summer would involve a massive shake-up. Tranfers don't happen overnight.

The season doesn't start until the 8th August.

The transfer window opens on 1 July. We've just had some tourneys abroad that players (Reading and targets have been involved in), and other players are on holiday - so not much will happen.

Is that ok, or would you prefer what we had last year when we released top players within days and then sold other top players to pay our bills?!???!?

MR. CYNICAL Since the last season ended in April, we have not heard a peep out of Steve Clarke. This was a man who was not going to have a holiday and was going to get his transfer business done early, yet we have signed no one even though many have been released/joined other clubs. The silence is deafening!
We have no goalkeepers, goalscorers, even Makie is not coming back and we have a tour coming up in 2 weeks.
I thought last summer was bad enough.
Worrying times.

IS IT TIME TO PANIC YET? WE HAVEN'T ANNOUNCED A SINGLE SIGNING FOR THREE DAYS!!!!!!
