Top Flight 45 minutes.

I haven't said that Kermorgant didn't play well or that he isn't a good player.
I just have the feeling that Orlando is a better player based on what I have seen of the two of them and would be a better long-term option for the Royals. There are only 10 days of the transfer window left so there won't be much opportunity to judge Kermorgant or this situation.

I would like a decent explanation from Brian as to what the hell has gone on with Orlando because this situation makes so little sense in terms of what I have witnessed on the pitch.

SA does not want to be here. His wife does not want to be here, Reading are shipping him out, loan on cards but now perm.... That ok?

Yeah. I bet she was the one who made him not score all those goals and head butt that Derby bloke to get a 3 match ban and lose us the game.

He does have nice muscles though.

Top Flight Having witnessed Kermorgants debut performance on Saturday. I can't help thinking what the Fricking heck are Reading FC playing at.... Orlando is 27, Kermorgant is 34. Orlando is that much stronger, better hold up play, a bit more quality I feel than Yann.

Surely Orlando is a better player than Kermorgant? What does everyone else think? This transfer business makes no sense to me.

I think Kermogant was the reason that Bournemouth got promoted Lat season.

Thank god you are not in business!!

Also has it not occurred to you that Sa is a rather unpleasant individual, has no time for players or born into the Reading way with a wife who hardy ever leaves her apartment because Reading is a merda hole!!

Where are you getting this info from?

Usual contacts I have.

Ar right so you made it up.

I think you have to really scramble around for stats to suggest we've improved since McD. But the hope is there because its still early days with him, where as with Clarke we had been chugging along at this pace for too long.

It's also important to remember we didn't just boot out Clarke because of results. He'd gone to speak to someone else. Most people feel this made his position untenable with the owners, the players and the fans.

You feel we have shown some promise here and there. And you have to give McD lots more games before we start calling him a lost cause.

Red cards for head butting off the ball suggest otherwise. At 27 hardly a kid either. Transfers don't always work out. That's football.

I'd be very surprised id Kermorgant doesn't have more than 5 goals after 19 appearances. I like Sa, but I like Kermorgant more.

The brutal truth is, whilst you may argue he hasn't "been given a chance", is that bar a handful of games earlier in the season he has been fairly mediocre. He's scored in 3 games, and in every other has looked pretty anonymous.

Won't miss him.

donbt think stats are even required.

there has been a visible improvement imo, and under some tough conditions.
to my eye at least, weve improved defensively, and we look mentally tougher, as well as physically less of a push over,
improving the goal scoring has been tough with the Sa and blackman situations

I THINK READING PLAY BETTER UNDER BRIAN WITH MORE SPIRIT!!
I THINK IT IS TO EARLY TO JUDGE KERMORGANT BUT HE LOOKS GOOD!!
IF SA LEAVES WE ARE LIKELY TO SIGN ANOTHER STRIKER ANYWAY!!
IF WE GET A MILLION FOR SA AND WE GOT 3 MILLION FOR BLACKMAN THERE MUST BE SOME MONEY TO SPEND SOMEWHERE!!

If my Caps Lock button was broken I'd either get a new keyboard or hold down the shift button.

Really can't agree with this! Why keep a player around if he doesn't want to be here? No player is bigger than the club! Yann's record for Bournemouth speaks for itself 26 goals in 58 games total! I know age isn't on his side but he will score goals in this league and will work for the team.

Not sure I can agree with that.

SC got a pass last year because we got to the FA Cup Semi-Final, but the reality is we beat who, exactly? Huddersfield, Cardiff, Derby, Bradford.

We also finished with 6 defeats and 3 draws in 9 games before the surprise win at Derby.

Take out the FA Cup and surely SC would have gone last year?

P10 W1-D3-L6 and add this year's P24 W9-D6-L9 you get P34 W10-D9-L15 and we appeared to be falling fast

39 "points" from 34 games = 53 point season

(remember these figures include our purple patch that took us to second)

29.4% wins
44.4% losses (That is a BIG number)

When McDermott took over
the side was imbalanced, very low morale, had some alleged bad-apples. We have sold our top-scorer
but nevertheless we are P9 W3 D3 L3

33.3% Wins
33.3% losses

McD (early days) would be on for a 61 point season. That is a decent turn-round, and IMO the future
looks brighter, because Vydra looks like he might be better under McD we have a proper CF, and have remembered
that going one-down is not the end of the game

I can confirm the part about Reading being a merda hole, as can any of us who live here if we are honest and objective..... If true, I guess Sa won't be signing for a club like Wolves or Hull then either.

Well I think Bergamo/Athens are a little nicer.
