Not willing to make a judgement on 15 minutes and 2 touches, although I got his name on my shirt after the game and his face tattoed on my inner thigh this morning.

Saw his in town on Saturday night and told him I thought he was rubbish and should get back to Latvia asap. He said 'Thankyou'.

Yep, punctured lung, 3 cracked ribs and 28 stitches in a scalp wound.
Hell of a polite guy though.

I think he looks like a cannibal killer.

I love him.

He's reminding me of Ivan Drago. That's a good sign.

Deniss. Cool as a cucumber before the game yesterday. "I'm forever blowing bubbles. Thinking about scoring the winner".

Love. Hero.

There's something about his unconventional running style that appeases me. To turn his entire body steers and his head goes down as he churns to try to pick up pace. There's a little sonic the hedgehog in there somewhere.

He isn't the fastest, he isn't the strongest, he doesn't appear to have the best shot, but he seems to be all round "ok". Like a little ALF-lite yesterday with the late winner - you just knew he was going to score that before it left Obita's foot (great pass).

With him and Kermorgant finally having bagged one here's hoping it's the start of plenty more.

It's a bit robocop, arms slightly too far apart, body turns and the head follows.

The only downside I thought was the theatrical way he went down for the penalty claim - can't help but feel we might have got it if he wasn't so Ashley Young about it.

Glad I was not the only one who spotted that tendency, he will cost us dear.

No Englishman has ever dived have they. You're still banging on about something 2 games ago. Or can you just not handle the fact that we won a game because an immigrant scored the winner. And check out who scored all our other goals on Saturday. Immigrants!
