I thought Adie Williams had something about him the first time I saw him play. He had a calmness and composure about him that really stood out. He was so composed on the ball which was totally different to anything we had at the time. You could see that he was a standout player.

Gylfi looked a cut above, of course, almost straight away. Even when he was out of position and maybe a little inexperienced, his class really shone through.

I thought both Stacey and Fosu looked really impressive against Derby - it's a shame they haven't kicked on this year.

Karacan seemed to fit right in from the off.

Going back, Henderson and Tyson were both promising early on, with fairly mixed results afterwards.

Anyone remember Darren Campbell and Peter Castle? They were both supposed to be special but only made one or two appearances each.

Nicholas Bignall, looked strong, two goals against Burton in the League Cup, vanished without trace.

Some Icelantic lad scored from 30 yards in that game.

That was a good crop of youngsters
