No. After the 2008/9 season the core of Coppell's team was broken up and even further changed by Rodgers. In fact, Brian did very well considering the state of the club after Brendan left.

Personally i've been disappointed that the atmosphere hasn't improved much since McDermott came back. I thought it might draw a line under the bad feelings from his sacking and help unite the fans behind the team. I suppose the inconsistent results haven't helped, but could have done with a few more chants for him.

Like most of us, I thought for about 2 weeks we had a chance of winning the league, then the Fulham game happened.

In a way I quite enjoyed the Palace game simply because it was so busy and there was a buzz around the ground. I thought they were just a far superior team in almost every department (their centre-backs were shocking though).
