Al Habsi
Gunter McShane Cooper Obita
Williams Evans Quinn
Beerens Kermorgant Mcleary

If either one of Quinn or Mcleary don't make it through injury, then Swift.

SCIAG I want:

Al Habsi; Gunter, McShane, Cooper, Obita; Swift, Kelly, Evans; Beerens, Rakels, Tanner
Subs: Bond, Gravenbech, Watson, VDB, Williams, McCleary, Kermogant

But I'd be happy for Kermogant and/or McCleary to come in at the expense of Tanner, I just wouldn't risk them given they haven't had a pre-season. Give them a run-out if opportunity presents itself.

Expect we'll get:

Al-Habsi; Gunter, McShane, Gravenbech, Obita; Williams, VDB, Evans; Beerens, Rakels, Swift
Subs: new guy, Cooper, Watson, Evans, Tanner, McCleary, Kermogant

Again, wouldn't be surprised to see Kermogant or McCleary playing if Stam thinks they're ready.

No Meite at all?

Habsi

Gunter
Cooper
McShane
Obita

Swift
Berg
Williams

Beerens
Rakels
Kermorgant

Subs

Jaakkola
Gravenberch
Harriott
Evans
McCleary
Kelly
Watson

If a miracle happens today and we sign Moore then I'd expect Moore to start and Cooper drop to the bench in place of Gravenberch or Watson.

Now that Norwood has gone, I am feeling more optimistic and positive about our chances against PNE.

Norwood was the heartbeat of our team, but the way our team ticked, only failure and rubbish football was the result. It's right that the heart has been ripped out of the team and replaced with a different type of influence. Something a bit more aggressive that can provide stronger defensive cover but can also set us on attacks with a bit more tempo and initiative.

We never did do well with Norwood pulling the strings. The balance was never right.

My starting 11 against PNE would be this:

GK: Jaakola
RB: Gunter
LB: Obita
CB: McShane
CB: Cooper
DM: Van den Berg
RCM: Williams
LCM: Swift
LF: Beerens
CF: Kermorgant
RF: McLeary

You sounded a bit ghey but a rare +1

Exactly my team too, but IMO it selects itself atm.

Jaakola
Gunter Cooper McShane Obita
Williams VdB Evans
Rakkels Kermit Swift

I wouldn't mind variations in attack but i feel that's our best midfield.
