genome BF,

The chant is "Oh he's ISIS, you know, Ali Al-Habsi in goal". I heard it last year in Y25 (and in fact I should've reported it then). Good on the club for banning them and well done to the Arsenal stewards for picking up on it

Yeah that's the one, I also heard a slight variation which I think was to the tune of the one that goes "and that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it". To be honest I'd forgotten the tune by the time I got home, but it rhymed "he's ISIS" with "blew up Paris" as quoted by P!O. Something like "Al-Habsi blew up Paris, up Paris, up Paris, he's in oxf*rd ISIS, he's ISIS, he's ISIS, woah woah wo".

I think there must have been two groups because the ones behind me (in Block 25, Row 13, seats 765-775ish) left of their own accord in three groups between 75 and 85 minutes into the match. They weren't ejected or in Block 24 as far as I could tell. They weren't especially loud or sustained and I don't think anyone wanted to get out to report a dozen drunken young men, so perhaps they've got away with it.

The club haven't provided information on how to contact them about it but I'd be happy to.

I was walking down Holloway Road going to my car and looking on maps on my phone. A voice behind me asked if I knew where the nearest Police Station was. I said that I was a Reading fan and didn't know. I asked him why and he said that his mate had been arrested. I asked him why and he said that him and a few others had sung a song about AAH and ISIS. One Reading fan told him to stop, so his mate told him to oxf*rd off and that was what he'd been arrested for. I looked on my phone to find a Police Station, but couldn't find one. Luckily, two Police on horses rod by and I suggested that he asked them. I then walked off.

It's the half-rhyme that I object to.

Heard these chants at Rotherham away last season by a group of around ten filthy looking chavs

One of which was .. he preys on the left , he preys on the right , Ali Al Habsi has Mecca in sight. Pretty sure that's racist

I'd ban them all for at least 5 years

Just contacted the club to advise. Guess it may help to know it's not a first offence.

Imagine the club already dealing with something but feeling so important you have to do get involved in the snitchathon. Why don't you focus on your own life

Someone on the Facebook post compared whatever this song was to saying swear words at Football. Our fan base is embarrassing :|

There was a group near me and one lad was trying to start the ISIS chant (he was wearing a darkish orange coat, had a beard and glasses). His mates one of whom wore a rather incongruous deerstalker hat), ignored him.

Imagine being so desperate to live up to your LAD internet persona that you excuse racist chants and get embarrassed by people who rightly want to get rid of the idiots that sing said chants.

Agree with any action taken against these idiots

One question though, why does no-one at the club take action/express concern on over the line about stabbing people in a certain other song?
