Stranded This just sounds like A Whisper to me though I'm sure we have our Spies in place. I hope we don't leave it too long as Clocks are ticking. Yes good idea to play a guy who scored 3 goals all last season over a guy that scored 11 in 30 games for Fulham. 64 goals in 153 outings for Derby wasn't too shabby either.

Does anyone know the official explanation for his falling out at Fulham last season? Was it a disagreement with the manager or a homesickness thing? I remember him going AWOL at one point in the season which is a slight worry.
Went awol in the fog game against us
Was mainly as McClaren wanted him back at Derby. Was a key man for him in his previous spell. Guessing McClaren just got in his ear and said he wanted him back and would be his main man etc
Did think the reaction from Martin was over the top at the time but this time he must surely realise his time at Derby is coming to an end.
