mumbo-jumbo Please, PLEASE can we get rid of the damn stupid Ian Royal options from the polls. Its such a stale joke it's just rancid and irritating. If that means I'm not considered a proper Nobber then so be it . Perhaps we can have a poll to see who wants to dispense with it henceforth? (Massive fan of confimred by the way - that one works!)

Good to see you’ve got your priorities right.

The champagne is on ice ready for the news!

Ok I lied it's prosecco.

Ok I lied it's cava, any event involving that pcunt no matter how joyous doesn't warrant anything better.

Yip yap Stam is a Dutch con man,
Came to Reading with a stupid plan,
Tried a tonne to take us to league one,
Yip yap,
FCUK OFF!

If you had asked me one month ago, two months ago; hell at the end of last season, walking out of Wembley, I would have said OUT. I have a much more negative view of last season than many because the two things I value most are football excitement and fan relationships and there has been precious of either of them under the current manager.

But, now we're at a precarious part of the season, with 16 games to go, and I see this going one of two ways.
a. We get a Pulis/Redknapp type who has an immediate impact on player morale, but who has no plan for next season
b. We get a manager with a longer term plan but who increases our chances of relegation in the next 16 games.

I dont actually think relegation is a disaster, but we could have the best chance of avoiding it, ironically by keeping Stam. I would set him some target he cant possibly achieve, ride it out until the end of the season and then sack him. Im going for a tactical IN.

The fact we're discussing this after the January transfer window is the LOLs bit.

I had assumed that all of 'the fans' have thought about this at some length. Is this actually not the case?

Was talking to another renowned Reading fan today, (so this isnt original thought) who reminded me that when we got Adkins in at such a late stage his get out of jail card was to blame it on the previous administration. I think if we sack now, we may have to factor in a probable relegation. Then again I never want to see a game like that play off final again.

So, yes, it is a bit complicated, isnt it?

Well, you said you have thought about it, and that you think its complicated. Doc H, and I, concur with that. And so I was wondering if all the 'Stam out' faction have thought about it, like you have?

Yes, it’s painful and it’s painfully bad right now, but wasn’t JS sold to us as a three year package?
He’s just over the half-way stage (I personally, am failing to see what good would become and where it will all lead as a positive, but) should he be given the opportunity to see it through, and to (ultimately) get us out of this sh1t and get back to forward thinking.

Of course, this is about as popular as cancer, but (as already alluded to on here) we have little to gain and more to lose by getting shot of him.

Anyway, in the spirit of ballot paper spoilage....Ian Royal

I’m sure flirting with relegation and not winning at home in 10games wasn’t part of plan, so I’d say it’s so far off course that it can be thrown out the window. Along with Stam and his training staff who seem to be entirely ineffectual.

Cannot see a way to disagree with you....but....if it was a three year thing, shouldn't it be a three year thing?

If there were signs of any progress at all...

Really can’t see any unfortunately. We seem to be worse in every aspect to last year

I see.

I would say the majority have taken a long time to come to think Stam should go. I don’t believe it’s a knee jerk reaction and most really have arrived at the conclusion somewhat unenthusiastically.
