Hound We’re definitely quite good offensively at them. Can think of 4 we’ve scored from off the top of my head

Just currently a shambles defending them. Not sure what has happened there

Moore vs Wednesday?
Ilori vs Preston?
Bodvarson vs Norwich?
Baldock vs Hull?

A few seasons back I think we were needing 60-100 corners to get a goal
or something ridiculous like that

If Aluko was taking them we might be looking at numbers like that..

I think it's just Iloris goal was a Swift corner. The rest were Bacuna. Oh and 5) Bacunas goal vs West Brom.

NewCorkSeth According to whoscored one of our main strengths this season is defending set pieces..

So basically, other teams are worse. OK...

I think this is a bit like crosses / taking corners. Watch another game where you are not emotionally involved, and see how many either fail to beat the first man or sail over everybody. Tend to notice only how often your own team do it.

professionals tend to be aiming to get it just above the first man's head, if you achieve that at speed with a straight trajectory you've delivered a ball at head height between the two posts making it very easy to score if you connect.

They hit the man so many times because they are aiming just above him. People who float in corners rarely score from them.

Ian Harte was the best at taking corners, i started to expect us if not to score, come close.
