So Ilori dropped for o Shea. Fair enough tbh

McCleary, Meite and Baldock up front

Decent enough 11. No Meyler or Barrow still

Seems like we`ve got to the point where the midfield picks itself. is this what we`ve come to now?

Baldock apparently playing as a striker with Meite on the flank. It should be the other way around. Ilori drops to the bench with O’Shea in. Kelly lucky to start.
No sign of Barrow on the bench nor McNulty or Loader.
Not at all optimistic.

Meyler’s a strange one. Still injured? McShane still injured?

Would agree Kelly is very lucky - he just isn’t a champ midfielder, simple as. Would have been happy to see Rinomhota replace him

Meyler was fit for Ireland so just way out of favour

I am sure that OMA and John Smith agrees with me when I say that if we lose a few more THEY MUST GO

Seems we have got to the point where Clement has run out of ideas

I think he ran out of ideas 5 months ago.

Agreed about Kelly. Is Meyler also out of favour? Also think we cannot do worse than give Rinomhota a chance ahead of Kelly.

FFS..... here we go. I feel a pasting coming on.

Amazing that the midfield picks itself. I would drop Kelly and try Ilori at the base of the midfield to allow Bacuna to get forward more where he is decent.

Sadly Rino was pretty poor when he came on for that run out last week....

Agree on the Meite / Baldock front, but I'd wait to see how we line up first, I'm not sure the media team's interpretation of the shape from the team sheet is foolproof.

Who exactly is competing with Kelly? Meyler was so awful he's been dropped from the squad and that's totally justified, Rinomhota is a big ask, Edwards is still injured isn't he? Who else is there?

Do the Swans have any pace upfront? I fear for O'Shea if they do, he just can't cope with it.

Said he was lucky rather than shouldn’t be playing

On balance id sadly prob still pick him if Meyler really is the level he has shown us so far

Don’t know much about this Swansea side Ian so no idea about pace in their team. I would give Rinomhota a chance. Kelly is struggling to create/score. He did work hard against Millwall but that should be a given.
