Sutekh
Hound Not sure what Halilovic has been up to. Maybe training with us. Rahman been playing friendlies

Both expected to sign but given neither announced yet so it’s not going to be in time to play tomorrow (believe 12 noon today was the cut off) so debuts possibly v QPR on 11 September (and hopefully a striker too!).

Therefore

Rafael
Holmes
Morrison
Moore
Yiadom
Rinomhota
Laurent
TBD
Swift
Puscas
Azeez

Subs

Southwood
Ejaria
Clark
Leavy
Ebahatimoianitrrfgnienneniinen
Bloke I’ve forgotten
Who’s left?

My guess for the bench would be Southwood, Stickland, Bristow, Tetek, Hoilett, Ejaria/Leavy, Clarke

Any confirmation on whether Baba made the registration deadline for today?

If he did he’s a nailed on starter. He even had his shirt on already

Can’t find anything anywhere to confirm either way so I’m presuming both did not sign in time, that way it can only be good news come 2 o’clock

Still no Ejaria and Azeez missing so it’ looks like we now have six out injured/ill. The international break cannot come quickly enough.

Yep. Likely to be a totally different side vs QPR

First 11 is just about ok today but that bench is desperate

The Ejaria situation is annoying. He really needs to be back for QPR. The worry is that even with 5 or 6 incomings we are still going to struggle as we are bound to pick up more injuries in the weeks ahead with very few coming back from injury in the foreseeable.

what have we got - the first 11 today then hopefully to add to that;

Ejaria
Baba
Drinkwater?
new striker?
Tetek
Halilovic
Southwood
Leavy/Clarke/E'man/Strickland/Bristow

should be ok really. Only have 3 subs a game. The Azeez/Araruna/Meite/McIntyre/Joao to come back at some point, prob January-ish

The trouble is we could easily lose another four or five before the long term injured are back.

Reckon there’s no more than 200 of us here. If there is it’s not by much.

Anyone considered that Ejaria isn't just isolating, but is actually ill with Covid?

Azeez missing... Liverpool bound?

Azeez injured - 3 months

Ejaria - who knows? Had been self-isolating before the Preston game according to Pauno

Lol, hadn't realised Pauno's current form is substantially worse than Bowen's was.

Run roh - sod Xmas he could be gone by September

I read it on here yesterday so I presume it was mentioned in the press conference?

Defence already at 6s and 7s. Look utterly terrified.

So this cr@ppy zonal system is what they were using last season to largely great effect, so why has the defence gone so kak in the last 6 months? Is Richards’ lack of form and ultimate departure really all the difference?
