I'd need to see a proper business plan, a genuine vision for the club and also some indication that, as an investor, I was going to get some sort of return on any capital I put into the venture (over a period of time).

Without that all it becomes is a charity, and thats not a sustainable business model for the medium to long term.

Green
LUX How do they work?

I’ll put in a couple of hundred quid. Five hundred if I get to choose the music on the tannoy.

Anyone else in?

What would you do at a fan run club spinoff.

I'll take bar manager.

I'd have a specially brewed house beer, from either Loddon or Renegade (contract negotiations permitting) then a rotating guest ale from the Berkshire / South Oxfordshire / North Hampshire region, and a guest from the region of the visiting opposition (appreciate that'd be one and the same for the first few seasons)

Assistant to the bar manager, responsible for scouting the guest ales.

LUX Trophy room attendant/ inventory manager

If you asked any one of the people I know who do run their own clubs in one way or another what jobs they'd like, they'd almost all say "jYou mean I can do Just one job? Luxury!"

It's a struggle and inevitably there are too few people and too many jobs.

I'd take FD. Be the unpopular guy telling everyone there is no money and that we have to sign cheap loans and frees.

Any fan ownership wouldn't last long. #SellBeforeWeDai have looked into this (STAR) and found that in most case's the Clubs have to find a wealthy long-term buyer after a couple of years. We really need to hope the next buyer is a decent one, but I've lost all faith in that after the corrupt Zingarevich's, asset stripping Thai's, and now the multi Club killing Dai's.

Snowflake Royal Stadium isn't worth a lot without the club. L1 clubs in dire need aren't worth that much.
The land might be or it may have a good rental income for football/rugby/other things for a pension fund/investment company.

Hopefully if it goes up for Auction we'll get an interesting Homes Under the Hammer episode with the presenter suggesting which walls can be knocked through and an extension built.

They'd be no complaints.

Live sex shows at half time.

Free chicken wings for every home goal scored.

What more do you want?

If there was a fan takeover you would really want to maximise profits so you would need to find alternative uses for the stadium when it wasn't in use (pretty much every other weekend and through the summer months).

Would there be any mileage in using the stadium for other things like pop concerts or as a wedding venue. What do other teams do to get more money into their clubs?

Giving away free chicken wings for goals scored/conceded will simply eat into these profits.

To be clear you are endorsing the live sex show at half time?

As long as it doesn't eat into the profits I'm all for it

A sound business plan is essential for attracting investors and securing finance, it needs to be realistic as well based on the club not gaining promotion.

For fans, they may be able to get away with simply getting their money back over a period of time when the club is in profit, possibly with some return linked to promotions/prize money but that won't be enough for a bank or non-fan investor and certainly not HMRC

the stadium is underused IMO, and could hold concerts there like the Elton John one back in the day, Boxing, like at the Spurs stadium.

Will this replace the free pizza?
Do the lucky row get to take part and if so, will it be in seat number order? (asking for a friend who may want to switch seats)
