Howell Road car park?

You might be ok on Prince of Wales Road. That's 10 - 15 minutes walk and I don't think over much hill. You might be able to steal a residential place on Powderham Crescent.

I've asked a chum still there for recommendations.

After my Summer Ball i persuaded a girl to let me sleep in her bed with all the trimmings on Powderham Crescent. Hearing these road names again after 15 years is bringing back memories.

The stadium is in quite a hilly bit of the town. FYI. You could be parked what looks very close to the ground, and find you have a steep hill to walk back up on the way home. Just so you are aware. There is tonnes of resi parking moments from the ground, which in 2008 was not reserved for permit holders on weekends. It is a bit congested. What with driving past stone henge, i'd recommend leaving unreasonably early in the morning to get there.

There is a station nearby (st james park) but it doesn't have a car park. Nearly all roads close to the ground are resident/permit parking only. Previous times I've been I've parked in the City Centre car parks but is about a 1 mile (15 minute or so) walk up the High Street and then Sidwell Street if you're coming from the cathedral end (least that's where I last remember parking).

After I was told I had 6 months left to live with terminal cancer in May 2017 I refused treatment, discharged myself from NHS care, ate well and did do a lot of exercise and the cancer was gone in 6 months and I have been cancer free since then. I know you are a cynic but that is the truth and I will gladly meet with you to show you all the NHS paperwork. I think faith in God also played a big part in my recovery.

Travelled down to Exeter today and staying with friends for the weekend dead opposite the away end.

Word of warning for those driving down: it took me FIVE hours from Bracknell and the M4 and M5 were clogged. Google Maps saved me 30 mins by diverting off the M4 on to the M32 into Bristol, St. Pauls, Clifton and over the suspension bridge; rejoined the M5 at J19.

Give yourself plenty of time tomorrow.

Bear in mind though, Bristol has a Clean Air Zone. I don't know the area it covers, but if you enter it unknowingly, or don't pay the charge a letter will appear through your door requesting £140 (or £60 if paid within two weeks). May be wise to check the bristol.gov.uk website to see if your car is exempt. The same goes for Bath, if you go through there.
