I guess there's Bootle or Marine but I have fcuk all afinity to either.

I might concentrate on on doing the 92 or more likely, just get on with my life.

Real Madrid so I can mock Liverpool Fans with their measly 6 european cups and only 20 odd league titles......losers.

Though I've always liked Bayern and possess a Thomas Muller Bayern shirt.

I think I might have a go at getting into MLS. The owner of the baseball team I follow also owns a football team so there would be some convenience in holidaying.

Their game against Leverkusen is on YouTube right now if you want to start supporting them early.

Hendo Would be quite happy to just walk away from football, tbh.

Mix of that and Cambridge, or Exeter

If no Phoenix club I'd probably just give up on football.

Doesn't bare thinking about!! been supporting since 1979 and left Reading in 1984 (Army) and still followed from all over the world (Germany, N.Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq) have been in Canada for 16yrs now and still get up at 7am every Saturday to watch on ifollow.

Would be tough without Reading FC so not really contemplating the idea, hopefully will not come down to closure.

Did go to a number of Torquay Utd games when on leave during the military and parents moved there, They were fun to watch. Watched Harrogate Town for a few seasons when posted to Catterick and they were non league at the time, and same with Colchester Utd when they were at their old stadium Layer Road, watched the Ding get beat in the FA Cup there.

Started following Reading City on facebook and they have a nice little set up going. Was born in Thatcham so would be Thatcham Town lol.

SouthDownsRoyal I think I’d support Ipswich as the sun always seems to shine when they are on live on TV

Is Suffolk a sunny county or is it just by chance

You'd have to fight South Coast Royal for the affections of Ipswich. He is quite the fan already.

Really?

I'd probably try and follow a team but I'd never truly support them. Probably Wycombe Wanderers

Jokes aside, there are plenty of teams who I like, either through relatives or areas I've lived in over the years (not Leeds!). But nobody could replace the gut wrenching feeling of failure or, very occasionally, the euphoria of success that Reading provides. I probably would become an armchair football fan with some teams I like more than others. And would happily watch the phoenix if it happens.

Just picture the last day when it`s officially announced, SSN news presenter "we`re now crossing live to the SCL stadium for some breaking news"
Pictures of hundreds of fans wandering around, some in tears, trying to get interviews but most are too upset to talk.

No offence to Bury but we will be the highest profile club to go to the wall, 152 years and out,

Hope it doesn`t come to that, but this is the biggest threat to our very existence since Maxwell.

Think its bigger than last time in all honesty. I'd take L2 next season and new owners if offered today.

The Maxwell thing started when the club was put up for sale in 1982 by then chairman Frank Waller and there were three or four local people interested (including Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan) as the money in football back was different and by and large clubs ran themselves as a business.

When Maxwell came along the board of directors were split down the middle re supporting the proposal and Roger Smee soon obtained a court injunction re sale of any club shares and there was also significant local media support, and it always felt we'd come out of that ok.

No one local has spoken up yet re providing any financial support, and the local press is non existent these days.

The money needed now doesn't help, of course.
