What you talking about Willis

Ignoring the personal accusation but addressing the original post.

You know this is a deliberate disingenuous post from an attention seeking poster at a time when genuine fans are concerned

If you’re the new broom you claim to be , then his nonsense has to stop on here .

It’s good to have more moderation from brogue but we need to be careful not to end up with over moderation.

If one doesn’t like a post or a thread then don’t click it or read it or scroll on by, if one knows they don’t care for a particular poster don’t open their threads.

We all have our own views and opinions but I want HNA to stay light hearted

There's a couple of posters for who there's no such thing as overmoderation.

Who?

Karbota and DD, both of whom would have been banned 10 times over if anyone with the power had any interest

One in particular who Brogue came on to the team board promising to sort out if he got votes for mod from the TB. So far that poster seems to be carrying on as normal, at least on this part of HNA?.

Hit the snitch switch and report the posts. I read as much as I can on here but stuff will invariably get missed. If you report a post I get a notification

Reading FC will be a non league club soon so we can carry on supporting them.

And get plenty of local derbies in the process! Plus non league doesn't exist in BBC Berksland too, so another bonus.

Tbh if we dropped out of the league I think there’s a non-zero chance that BBC Berks gets merged with one of the other local services, I think complaints from Reading fans are the only reason it didn’t happen at least once in the past.

It was merged back in the mid 90s (anyone remember BBC Thames Valley), didn't last too long and the output was cr@p if you were in Berkshire with everything being Oxfordshire centric. Even used to get coverage of Wycombe from time to time  the brief coverage of Reading on Saturday PM was about the only time it wasn't spouting how wonderful Oxfordshire was.

Harrison Delbridge support your local team, they need the money and support more then our soulless team

there are plenty of teams about that can see the benefit of this and actually care about the fans

You watch Brighton FFS.

SouthDownsRoyal Put them on ignore or scroll past their posts

One shouldn’t have to, and that's not practical when they're everywhere, and people continue to feed them.

Most of us manage it and it’s no real hardship to scroll past a post

I'm not boycotting anything - maybe if the game was on Sky, but actually those are the games we want to be protesting at because every chant or tennis ball thrown will be broadcast nationally, possibly world wide... I think to ensure continued coverage we perhaps try to avoid pissing Sky off too much though, keep then on side without too much disruption to kick off times.

As for supporting your local non league club, this I can get behind but I certainly wouldn't want to see genuine supporters of those clubs miss out because a load of disgruntled Reading fans decide to turn up mob handed for a jolly day out watching two teams they don't really care about.
