shadesrwrf Let's hope he retains that level of humility throughout his career. What a thoroughly decent chap he is! I feel like a proud parent now.

And what about the interview with the EP last year when he said something along the lines of "you don't drop your best players, you don't see Barcelona dropping Ronaldinho do you?!"

He has come across pretty well this morning though, I'll give you that.

I think you've given the answer in your question. It was a report in the Evening Post. Personally I'd describe the EP as a poor man's News of The World.

For the record, I agree with both of the above responses. Just a bit of Saturday morning fishing

The main round of applause was more for saying that he had refused to play for Ireland as his grandad, who was Irish, had died before he was born and Kits himself considered him and his family to be English. So even if he never played for England, he didn't think it would be right to play for Ireland!

More worrying was Kitson's view that he 'should' be back in time for the game against Spurs on November 12th!

He's got to have another two injections into his medial liagment this week so it doesn't sound as though an early return is very likely.

I've queried this on the BBC BErks forum and Ollie reckons he's spoken to Tim who's convinced Kits will be back for Man City.

Well perhaps Tim would like to recheck with Kitson! I imagine he knows whether he's still got to have at least two injections into his ligament!

To be even more pessimistic I don't think Kitson has a particularly good record at getting back to match fitness by the first predicted date.

So that leaves a strike force of Doyle and Lita backed up by Long and Cox.

Wasn't intending to sound sarcy, it's just that the news on Soccer AM came live direct from the horse's mouth.
