We belong to a better league.

Just heard him interviewed post game and he said that for the first half hour it was like playing Real Madrid. (Without the massive resources of course).

Warnock lives in the last 15 minutes, he always has. First half, we are Real Madrid, second half, he says United deserved something simply thanks to their 'everything and the kitchen sink' last 15.

Sounded like a well-deserved away win, and we should have been out of sight at half-time.

Carlton Palmer was very forthright in saying that Warnock had better start being honest, because although it was only 2-1 we were a far far better team with skill, guile and guts and determination, and if their domination in the 2nd half with huff and puff, (that on the whole Sonko and Ingimarsson dealt with easily), convinces him otherwise, then he really is kidding himself. OWTTE.

Almost every interview with Colin he at some point says 'we're enjoying it'.

Trouble for him is his grin is looking more and more like it has been fixed in cement. Like your team, Colin you don't convince anyone :D

UpNorth Warnock been stoking the fires before the game. this could just rebound on him big time.

Interview in the Daily Mail:

' I don't think Reading are in our league when it comes to a financial projection, said Warnock, whose plc chairman Kevin McCabe has sought to bring money in from off-field enterprises - includng the purchase of a club in China - while Reading's benefactorial chairman John Madejski is considering selling up.'

'So much is being generated off the field and there are exciting times ahead here. No disrespect to Reading and Watford but we are in the top half in terms of income and projection.'

Wow, buying some obscure club in China makes them better than us! Presumably spending a whole lot more cash on second rate players also shows their ambition.

Never a dull moment with Neil. Here's hoping that Warnocks's future projections include being booted out when they get relegated.

funny how they are'nt in the top half of the table, like us. shut up warcock, being big headed will shove you right back down!

I obviously listen to "Reasonable FM"

In the post match interveiws with Colin, he was nothing short of humble in defeat.........even if defeat occurred at 16 seconds.

The happy-talk bits is a form of Yorkshire spin

As with every week, I am assured the highlights are on this link but I can never get it to work (though others on here always seem to)

Skin NEIL WARNOCK claims Sheffield United are a bigger club than Reading with more clout to survive in the Premiership.
Must be the manager that's letting them down then?

I don't think I've ever seen Warnock accept his side weren't worth at least a point in post-match interviews. United had a lot of pressure but most of the scare were slightly dodgy defending. Hahnemann was tested ONCE all game. ONCE. And having seen the save of MOTD it wasn't as tough as it first looked. He should think a little about the amount of decent saves their keeper made (at least 3, I'd say), AND the fact that we hit the post, AND one blocked just in front of goal. What an embarrassing fool.

And relax.

They can have all the money they want, but with a manager like Warnock he would simply waste it on past it strikers and mediocre championship players.

Neil Warnock simply hasn't got an eye for a good player.

From the OS:

Warnock also had some kind words to say to our travelling support: "I thought the Reading fans played their part in what was a big crowd for not the biggest of games.

"I would have liked to have got an equaliser so I could have put 2-2 up to them when they kept asking me what the score was, but unfortunately we couldn't quite manage it."

'Ave it Warncock.
